ANÁLISIS DEL MERCADO Y TENDENCIA DE LA DEMANDA La madera se utiliza principalmente para la producción de tableros de madera de diferentes tipos, destinados en su gran mayoría a la industria para la elaboración de muebles y artículos de carpintería. Parte de la madera consumida se encuentra estrechamente ligada a la construcción de viviendas. Su consumo varía de acuerdo al desarrollo del sector constructor. En los últimos años se ha incrementado el uso de M.D.F. (Medium Density Fiberboard) y por lo tanto la demanda de estos productos se encuentra en constante crecimiento mientras se produce una reducción en la producción de varios de los productos alternativos. I - PRACTICAS COMERCIALES MAS USUALES I.1. CANALES DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN La distribución de madera se efectúa en forma directa de las empresas productoras o importadores al sector industrial o mayoristas. I.2. PRINCIPALES CENTROS DE CONSUMO DEL PRODUCTO Los grandes consumidores de artículos de madera son cuatro empresas dedicadas a la producción e importación de madera aserrada, hojas para chapado y contrachapado, tableros de partículas y similares, tableros de fibra de madera, madera chapada, contrachapada y estratificada. Los consumidores finales de artículos elaborados de madera son empresas dedicadas a la fabricación de muebles para el hogar y artículos varios utilizados en la construcción. I.3. FORMAS DE PAGO MAS USUALES Las condiciones de pago mas usuales, en la compra al exterior varían desde efectivo C.A.D a 90-120 días de fecha de embarque (Packing List). Las condiciones de pago mas usuales en este sector, en el mercado interno varían entre corriente + 60, 90 y 120 días.     Impact of COVID-19 on Air Quality in Israel Sarit Agami Department of Economics Hebrew University, Mount Scopus, Jerusalem, Israel email:[email protected] July 14, 2020 Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has caused, in general, a sharp reduction in traffic and industrial activities. This in turn leaded to a reduction in air pollution around the world. It is important to quantity the amount of that reduction in order to estimate the influence weight of traffic and industrial activities over the total variation of air quality. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on air pollution in Israel, which is considered one of the countries with a higher air pollution than other Western countries. The results reveal two main findings: 1. During the COVID-19 outbreak, relative to its earlier closest period, the pollution from transport, based on Nitrogen oxides, had reduced by 40% on average, whereas the pollution from industrial, based on Grand-level ozone, had increased by 34% on average. Relative to 2019, the COVID-19 outbreak caused a reduction in air pollution from transport and industrial as well. 2. The explanation percent of the time period of COVID-19 is at most 22% over the total variation of each pollutant amount. 1 Introduction Air pollution causes morbidity, death, and economic damage. The sources of air pollution in Israel include man made air pollution sources such as transporta- tion, power plants, factories, as well as natural sources, such as dust storms. In addition to the pollution that comes from Israel, the migration of pollution brings additional pollution from Europe or the desert.

As you know, on 12 July 2006, Israel was attacked by Hizbullah terrorists on its northern border, when eight soldiers were killed and two more abducted. What followed was 34 days of continued rocket attacks on northern Israeli communities, launched by Hizbullah terrorists in southern Lebanon. The attacks killed 157 Israelis and injured thousands of others, caused considerable damage to civilian infrastructure, and inflicted psychological trauma on Israel’s civilian population.     ACCESS FOR ALL ACADEMIC YEAR 2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR SUMMARY REPORT 2 SUMMARY OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR – 2017–2018 Program Founder – Dr. Adi Koll As I sit down to write my greeting words for the summary report, the radio in the background is playing a song with lyrics written by Ehud Manor and music by Corinne Elal. “I have no other country”, sings Gali Atari, “Even if my land is burning”. I try to concentrate. A year full of activity has come to an end. Once again Tzach and the program team designed a wide-ranging program consisting of classes, tours, projects and meaningful learning experiences for thousands of participants – teachers and students alike. And their effort was highly successful. Yet the line from the song continues to reverberate in my mind. I receive a message from a friend asking: “Going to the demonstration tonight?” and I respond “of course.” I think about the joint project we launched this year with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, a significant breakthrough in the relationship between the AFA and the state, and about the project with a group of youngsters, a long-lasting dream of mine, realized through this partnership. I browse through the report and enjoy reading about the “Learning Family” program in Jerusalem, and about the summer courses that extended beyond the boundaries of the university and reached the communities themselves. And I feel so proud. However my thoughts wander to the burning south, to the Nation-State Law that threatens to burn every bridge we tried, and still try, to build in Israeli society, to “life itself”.

    INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR THE PARTICIPATION IN A TENDER FOR THE LIGHT RAILWAY PROJECT BETWEEN HAIFA AND NAZARETH Annex 1 General Description of the HN LRT Project 1. General 1.1. The HN LRT Project is promoted under National Infrastructure Plan (‘Tatal’) 56, in line with the policy set by the GOI in Governmental Decision no. 1838 (the “Decision”), in which it ascribed the HN LRT Project the status of “National Infrastructure Project”. It is a key strategic national mega-project, which is intended to: Promote the use of public transportation in Israel; Strengthen the connection between the Haifa Metropolitan Area and the peripheral region to the east of it; Support investment in the development of Israel’s northern regions; Support development of the Galilee; Increase access to employment; and Stimulate economic growth. 1.2. The Decision stipulates that TRI shall lead the HN LRT Project pursuant to an agreement to be signed between the GOI and TRI, including with respect to securing a governmental budget for the execution of the HN LRT Project. 1.3. The HN LRT Project is to include the finance, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the LRT Project in the Haifa Metropolitan Area between Haifa and Nazareth. The exact terms of the PPP Tender shall be as determined in the Tender Documents at the Tender Selection Stage. Currently, it is expected to include a development phase for design and financing, a construction phase, and an Operation and Maintenance phase. 1.4. The concession period is currently expected to be for up to 25 years.
