Award-winning jazz vocalist/lyricist, Georgia Mancio, has proved herself one of the UK’s most original, adventurous and multi-faceted new artists. A true improviser with a boundless and bold imagination, Georgia produces music of beauty, bite and unfailing integrity, embracing a wide-ranging jazz repertoire alongside influences from her Anglo/Italian/Uruguayan heritage and her own original writings.

Georgia’s work includes: Bobby McFerrin, Sheila Jordan, Ian Shaw, Liane Carroll, Jason Rebello, , Kate Williams, Darius Brubeck and Bobby Wellins and as support for Monty Alexander, Jon Hendricks, Cedar Walton, Kenny Barron, Milton Nascimento and other jazz legends at Ronnie Scott’s. In 2013 she began a collaboration with two-time Grammy award-winning jazz pianist and composer, Alan Broadbent, and they will be releasing an album of co-written originals later this year. As a lyricist her work has also been approved by Pat Metheny.

Georgia has released several albums Peaceful Place (2003), Trapeze (2008), Silhouette (2010) and Come Rain or Come Shine (2013). Her latest, Live at ReVoice! (2015), is a collection of duos recorded at her own universally acclaimed international voice festival. She founded ReVoice! in 2010 (in association with the Pizza Express Jazz Club), producing 5 annual editions, presenting over 160 artists and performing 44 sets herself.

In 2005 Georgia beat contestants from around the globe to take first prize at the Brussels International Jazz Singers’ Competition and was nominated Best Vocalist in 2014 Parliamentary Jazz Awards.
