Gregory Specialist Community Based Service

Overview is a purpose-built care home which embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice. It is a specialist service for men and women with a learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder and / or complex conditions such as mental health issues, personality disorder and behaviours considered as challenging. We are also able to support individuals with a forensic history.

Gregory House is suitable for those individuals who: We provide: n Are currently living in the community, but require a period of n Individually tailored support

time within a structured environment with intensive care and n Supporting individuals to achieve support to avoid a potential hospital admission their personal goals and aspirations n Are currently in hospital and require further support to progress n Positive risk taking to a more independent living setting n Strengths based approach

This specialist community based service provides registered nursing n Positive Behaviour Support care in three small units. There is also a fourth unit that offers respite n Access to meaningful and stimulating care for individuals who do not require nursing care and includes an activity seven days a week, including emergency respite bed. vocational and educational opportunities
