2nd Notes to Non-Local Participants

A. Confirmation of Basic Information

Please confirm some information for our last stage preparation/arrangement of meals, transport and optional tours by completing the attached form and return on or before 13 March 2006 by email to Miss Avery Chan ([email protected])

B. Arrival to Hong Kong Please note that no pick up service from the Hong Kong Red Cross will be provided at the Hong Kong International Airport to Panda Hotel, where you will stay for the period from 16th-20th March 2006. The Panda Hotel airport shuttle bus service is available at Level 5 (Arrival Hall) of the Airport. A single trip fare of the airport shuttle will be charged at HK$90 per person, with 2 pieces of luggage free of charge. Additional luggage will be charged at HK$50 per piece. C. Fee Charged for Researcher and Observers For researchers and observers, they have to pay for their airfares, accommodation and meals during their stay in Hong Kong. For 1 room with two single beds for 2 persons for 1 night at Panda Hotel ---HK$400 (including breakfast for 2 persons) For 1 single room for 1 night at Panda Hotel --- HK$375 (including breakfast for 1 person) For lunch on 18 March 2006 --- HK$90 (including service charge) For dinner on 18 March 2006 --- HK$150 (including service charge)

D. Optional Tours Some optional tours are recommended to participants as attached on 19 March 2006. Please confirm your choices in the attached form. Except for Tour Package F which will be provided by our Red Cross volunteers free of charge, the tour packages of A, B and C will be provided by the Grayline Travel Agent and tour packages of D and E will be self-help tours. Team coaches and team members who wish to join those tours will get HK$40 subsidize from the Hong Kong Red Cross for the day and they have to pay for the balance of the tour fee. For researchers and observers who wish to join those tours, they have to pay the full cost of them. Tour fee will be collected by our staff upon your arrival at the Panda Hotel and will be nonrefundable once confirmed with travel agent.
