Updates from CDOT on Proposed Transportation Changes in Support of the Obama Presidential Center
November 16, 2018 Project Background / Today’s Presentation • The Obama Presidential Center is proposed for Jackson Park
• The Chicago Park District Recently Updated the South Lakefront Framework Plan
• CDOT is currently designing the transportation improvements to support both of these efforts

Legend Fourteen bus routes including express routes like the
Jeffrey Jump, Hyde Park Express, and South Shore Existing Traffic Express carry 85,000 passengers per day on roads in Signal and around Jackson Park with several park facilities serving as destinations or route turnarounds.
