If you find accommodation listed here that is closed or unwelcoming to walkers, or know of suitable accommodation that we have left out, please let us know. There is no reason to suppose that accommodation providers are not receptive to walkers, but it would be wise to enquire before booking; and the same goes if you are travelling with a dog. There are a few accommodation-booking companies that offer discounted rooms, but it is sometimes cheaper to contact hotels and B&Bs direct.
