Our drop and go in the mornings are truly appreciated to ensure a smooth start to the day and also the best transition in the afternoons. Please don’t forget students in Prep and their siblings are departing at 2:50pm to help stagger the number of students and families leaving the school at 3pm. Congratulations to all our students that have been working hard in their classrooms and in the playground making good choices to ensure that we are all: Being Safe, Being Respectful and Being Responsible. As students continue to make these good choices at the end of this term we will be celebrating for all students who are continuing with good choices a Pumped Sports morning. This will be split into sessions for the different year levels together. There is no cost to families as the school will be covering the cost. To qualify for the morning of fun students need to consistently be demonstrating our values of: Being Responsible, Being Respectful and Being Safe. All our classes continue to support in growing and learning about positive choices with our Health and our Respectful Relationships Program. This Thursday individual students will receive their report cards from Semester 1. In the upcoming weeks parents will also have the opportunity of Parent Interviews again for during this time they will be held over the phone. For our new families in recent weeks you can also be part of Parent Interviews to discuss any questions or check in how your child is travelling in their new school. Thank you to all our families that have been proactive if your child is unwell that they are not at school. We appreciate the families that have been letting the school know as soon as possible when their child is away. This Tuesday and Wednesday Miss Slean will be at our Central Queensland Principal Conference during this time Mrs Finger and Mrs Hill will be our Teachers in Charge. Don’t forget this Friday is Show Holiday and we wish everyone a relaxing long weekend and look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday for the commencement of week 6. School Camps BPay and BPoint is the preferred method of payment. P/1/2 Koorana Crocodile Farm – Please return all forms ASAP and payment of $25 is due by Monday 7 September. 3/4 Capricorn Caves – Please return all forms ASAP and payment of $210 is due by Monday 17 August. 5/6 PCYC Capricorn Coast – Information and deposit invoice coming home today. Please return all forms ASAP and deposit of $50 is due by Wednesday 16 September. Final payment will be due by Wednesday 4 November. Final amount is $TBA depending on numbers. If you are not wishing to participate in any of these activities, please advise the school office. Dental Van When visiting for dental visits, ALL adults and non Bouldy students/children are asked to please sign the register outside the school office. Please ensure you are going directly to and from the van. Lost Property Please ensure hats, shirts, shorts, jumpers etc are labelled and your child/ren are checking lost property for any missing items.
