"Blackie," as lie was so often called by his friends, is an outstanding senior. He majored in History and was a member of the .Minis terial Association. We may look for William Lloyd to go places in the near future. LaVERXE TRAVIS. LaVerne, though an Kngli major, was one of the best in Spanish. But she did ot let this take all her time. She found time to work •>•on• the B. S. I". Council and in other organizations of the scl MAKJOKIE WOOD. A music major. Besides being able to play almost anything, she ean sing anything. She is a good member of tl c Student Council and pianist for the College Trio. JOHN GREEN. This is John's second year to be in Who's Who. He is one of the best debaters Louis:ana College has had for several years. He has won many honors in this field. \ NOT PICTURED RUTH CAREY PAYNE. Ruth Carey finished school in January and is now teaching school in Pollock. She was one of Louisiana College's most outstanding students. She, for three years, was a member of the College Trio and represented the college many times. She was also a member of the Student Council. PALL STAGG. Paul is among the many boys who joined the services when his country called. While in school, lie earned his way into Who's Who. He was a good student, making an excellent reeord in scholastics. Louisiana College will be glad to see you coming back to finish your college work. DOROTHY Rl TH WARE. This is Dorothy Ruth's second year to appear in Who's Who. She is one of the best debaters, worked as 1$. S. U. secretary and was a member of Alpha Chi and Alpha Pi. She has been on the "A" Honor Roll all during her 4 years in college but she has never been too busy to entertain H. C. JKWELL WARE. Jewell, for two years, has served as Editor of the Pine Knot. .She, too, has a high scholastic average and was a member of 15. S. I. Council and vice-president of the Junior class. EARL MILLKR. Another promising young musician from Louisiana College is Earl .Miller, He, too, has a high scholastic average. His junior year he served t as associate editor of the PINK KNOT. FRANCES SPENGLER. Petite, vivacious Frances has well earned her position in Who's Who. she is a mem ber of Alpha Chi and Alpha Pi and has made the honor Roll since she entered Louisiana College. We are well proud of Frances. WILLIAM CLAWSON. An all-round boy. When he was a sophomore he was elected by his class as "boy most likely to succeed." Bill has made the honor roll during his entire college days. FRANK LEE. An outstanding young minister who has •mule an outstanding record at Louisiana College. He has been an excellent actor in several college plays. Erank, too, is an honor roll student.
