Pavilion is getting closer. CI presented various designs for the look and feel of the replacement pavilion in Esther Peachy Park back in November. Now, the next step is for CI to go through Historical Preservation (HP) for their input and then on to CNIA for a vote in order to go before the Urban Design Commission in Atlanta. This is on the agenda for January so I encourage all who have an opinion on this matter (that’s everybody, right?) to come on to the meeting and participate in the process. I also want to reach out publicly and say a big thanks to Ed Lindahl and Matt Wise who have stepped up in an interim role to serve in the roles of Neighborhood Planning Unit Repre- sentative and HP chair, respectively – thanks gentlemen! I hope everyone is looking forward to 2015. I have been asked how long I’ve lived in Cabbagetown quite a bit lately and the answer is 8 and a half years! Where does the time go?
