This majestic city is steeped in history and beauty. A trip here combines the old and the new - learn the story of communism while enjoying the cosmopolitan life of modern-day Moscow. You will see Moscow’s renowned Red Square, near the 16th Century St. Basil's Cathedral, one of the most famous pieces of architecture in the world, plus the constructivist pyramid of Lenin's Mausoleum. Travel over Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge, a concrete arch structure which spans the Moscow River and connects the Red Square and Bolshaya Ordynka Street of Zamoskvorechye. The bridge's architect, Alexey Shchusev, chose pink granite as the facade to make the bridge look as if built by real rock.
Lunch in the local restaurant Visit the Cathedral of Christ the Savior – the main Orthodox Cathedral of Russia, recreated in the late 90-ies of XX century. you will walk around the territory of the temple, walk along the Patriarch's bridge, from which you will make wonderful species photos. Nowadays the legendary Amber Room, where this precious resin covered the walls in a magnificent and shining style, as well as the radiant interiors have finally regained their former splendor after they suffered from severe damages during World War II.

The State Hermitage visit (main building) - it is hard to imagine a trip to Saint-Petersburg without visiting one of the most famous museums worldwide – the State Hermitage. One of the most famous and recognizable structures of St. Petersburg has always been and remains shrouded in mystery. Peter and Paul Fortress territory The cradle of Saint-Petersburg – Peter and Paul fortress is located on Hare Island. It was founded in 1703 and it’s the historical core of St. Petersburg. Its architect was the famous Domenico Trezzini, who made a significant contribution to the beginning of the building and urban design of St. Petersburg. Despite being a fortress it is noteworthy that Peter and Paul fortress did not take part in hostilities during the entire history of its existence. It was used mainly as a political prison and some of the Decembrists as well as famous people such as Dostoevsky, Chernyshevsky and others were imprisoned here in different periods of time. Nowadays it is a house for different museums such as Peter and Paul Cathedral – the tallest building in the city center and the burial place of Russian emperors – the Grand Ducan Mausoleum and the Museum of History of Saint-Petersburg. All these sights make Peter and Paul Fortress be worth visiting.
