PAGE 2 - CONWAYFUMC.ORG A SUCCESSFUL MISSION TRIP The members of our mission team to the Midwest Mission Distribution Center in Chatham, Ill., spent a very busy week back in September. Their duties included prep- ping pieces for mailing, building school desks and repairing bicycles. They were also able to do a little sightseeing in Springfield, Ill. “I am so glad I went on the Midwest Distribution Center mission trip. The center was very organized, so it was easy to accomplish the tasks they wanted us to do. Again, it opened our eyes to the needs around us,” said Cathy Goodwin. “It was also fun working side by side. A lot of bonding goes on being together five days on a trip. We worked, and I cherish the camaraderie I have brought back. I am ready to go again!” The team included Melinda Adams, Jamie Bird, Bev Bowles, Kisha Bumpers, Martha Bumpers, Cathy Goodwin and Donna Overton. New Portable Labyrinth is Ready for Use! If your class or group would like to use the church’s new portable labyrinth, please see Jackie Waite in the church office. She is in charge of reserving the labyrinth and checking it in and out. The labyrinth is also available from 9 a.m. to noon on the first Saturday of each month in Fellowship Hall. Please join us next on Saturday, Nov. 5.
