    1 tydzień = 5 x 4000 m npm Pomysł na tygodniowy wyjazd alpejski zapadł jeszcze w czerwcu. Głównym celem na 7 dni w Alpach dla mnie i Marcina stał się Weisshorn (4505 m). Szczyt trudny do zdobycia ze względu na wysokość i odległość podejścia z „bazy”, czyli wioski Randa zlokalizowanej przed słynnym ale nieco niższym Matterhornem. Pomysł zainteresował także szersze grono wspinaczy naszego KW. Jednak skład wykrystalizował się tuż przed terminem wyjazdu i ostatecznie do Randy udali się: Marcin Miczke, Maciej Przebitkowski. Radek Sołtykowski i ja – Jacek Wichłacz. Termin: 8 – 16.08.2012r. Czyli tzw. długi weekend. Już następnego dnia, po rozbiciu namiotu na campingu w Randzie udaliśmy się na wyjścia aklimatyzacyjne. Z braku miejsc w schronisku wyjście do Weisshornhutte musieliśmy przesunąć do soboty. Razem zatem - czyli w czwórkę - wjechaliśmy kolejką na Klein Matterhorn i tu nasze drogi nieoczekiwanie się rozeszły. Jak się potem okazało na 5 dni. Marcin i ja postanowiliśmy wejść na Roccia Nera (4075 m) i jak czas pozwoli na kolejny czterotysięcznik - Polluxa (4092 m). Maciej i Radek mieli pomysł aby wejść na coś lekkiego np. na Castora (4228 m) , przespać się dla lepszej aklimatyzacji w najbliższym schronisku Quintino Sella (3587 m.n.p.m.) i wrócić w tempie wypoczynkowo-spacerowym do Randy następnego dnia. Zgodnie z założeniami nasze aklimatyzacyjne wejścia dokonaliśmy na 2 wytyczone 4 - tysięczniki prawie bez chwili przerwy (nawet nie było czasu na zjedzenie drugiego śniadania). Ale skończyłyby się to o mało co „ kiblem” na stacji kolejki. Na jej ostatni zjazd zdążyliśmy 3 min. przed odjazdem w dół. O mały włos a aklimatyzacja Marcina i moja trwałaby o noc dłużej i to w warunkach dość ubogich.

Usually ski-resorts cover a surface that encompasses more than one side of a mountain (or more than one valley); for this reason, the meteorological conditions may vary locally and rapid decisions have to be taken in order to ensure the safety of the skiers. Any intervention on the structure of the resort may entail cascade events and other critical situations. For example, a temporary closure of a lift may create large queues in other parts of the ski-area. In the same way, a closure of a ski-slope might engender overcrowding in other ski runs. All these situations are potential sources of risk. We propose an approach to the study of criticalities in ski-resorts by means of transportation network approaches based on the ability of the skiers and the grade of the ski run. An example is made on the Antagnod branch of MonteRosaSki resort. The effects of a sudden interruption of part of it, i.e., ski- slope closure or lift temporary interruption, are simulated. La Còò facilitait les déplacements entre différentes parties d’une maison. A cause du développement démographyque qui a touché les villages d’Arvier au XIXème siè- cle, beaucoup de ces espaces couverts ont été fermés pour créer de nouvelles pièces habitables. Ils portaient souvent les noms des familles qui ont vécu longtemps à Leverogne (Costel, Socquier, Sage, Vagneur...); plus souvent encore ce sont les surnoms qui ont perduré (Dzaquedémo, Neucca, Quaranta, Serilla, Titòn...). Ici le nom de quelques passages couverts rappelle encore le prénom d’une personne ou son diminutif (Djouaneun, Djameun, Djeudjeuteun...). «Noi alunni della classe quarta della scuola primaria di Arvier abbiamo realizzato alcuni disegni a matita che ri- producono le còò del borgo di Leverogne e alcuni dei ponti presenti nel paese. Abbiamo innanzitutto visitato il borgo al fi ne di osservare da vicino la struttura e le particolarità delle diverse còò e, per poterle poi riprodurre, abbiamo scattato alcune fotografi e, altre invece le abbiamo “rubate” dall’album del Concours Cerlogne dell’anno scolastico 1991-1992, dalle quali siamo partiti per creare i nostri disegni. In classe ciascuno di noi ha individuato il soggetto da riprodurre, scegliendo come tecnica il bianco e nero o i colori.

Name: Seastedt, Timothy Worked for more than 160 Hours: Yes Contribution to Project: Dr. Tim Seastedt is a Co-I on the NWT LTER program. He is the former lead PI of the NWT LTER program. He provides continuity in leadership as well as mentoring as M. Williams transitions to the lead PI position. His research interests focus on terrestrial ecosystem studies, including factors influencing primary productivity, soil carbon dynamics, decomposition and mineralization processes, and how these processes affect short- and long-term ecosystem-atmosphere interactions. The Valley starts at Pont-Saint-Martin and is wedged into a narrow corridor which then opens out in the sight of Monte Rosa, a spectacular mountain with 28 peaks above 4,000 metres and which is the natural boundary with Switzerland.     PROCEDURA PER L’ASSISTENZA DELLE PERSONE POSTE IN QUARANTENA AL DOMICILIO A SEGUITO DI ORDINANZA PER COVID-19 VERSIONE 14/03/2020 LM 1/6 1 OBBIETTIVI In riferimento all’emanazione del documento della Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri – CDPC prot. N. COVID/0010656 del 03/03/2020 “Misure operative di protezione civile per la gestione dell’emergenza epidemiologica da COVID – 19”, si ritiene utile dare indicazioni ai Comuni che attiveranno i Centri Operativi Comunali e organizzeranno servizi di assistenza a domicilio per le persone in quarantena domiciliare (per es. generi di prima necessità, farmaci, pasti preconfezionati…), eventualmente svolti da personale di organizzazioni regionali di volontariato di Protezione Civile. Gli obbiettivi sono riassumibili • Garantire la consegna di derrate alimentari, farmaci e altri generi di necessità alle persone poste in isolamento • Evitare il contatto diretto tra gli utenti e il personale incaricato del servizio; • Garantire lo smaltimento dei rifiuti. 2 INDIVIDUAZIONE DEL PERSONALE Il punto f) Livello Comunale (Comuni – COC) della direttiva in oggetto recita “volontariato, opportunamente formato e dotato di DPI” per lo svolgimento delle attività di assistenza domiciliare. Si ritiene che il volontariato impiegato non debba avere contatti con le persone in quarantena domiciliare. 3 ENTI COINVOLTI • L’amministrazione Comunale raccoglie le esigenze del territorio; • La struttura regionale raccoglie le esigenze dei comuni e le smista per competenza; • La Croce Rossa Italiana si occupa dell’assistenza
