10 Festival Quotes LOOKING AHEAD TO THE LOFT FILM FEST 2017

The Loft Film Fest was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for $30,000 to support the 2017 festival. We are grateful for this support that we believe will take the fest to the next level, validating the hard work of the Loft staff, Board of Directors and volunteers!

One of our most exciting new projects is LOFT FILM FEST ON THE ROAD. We are the first American member of the Solar World Cinema network, which takes unique films to unusual places in 17 countries around the world. The Loft Film Fest on the Road will take select films from the festival to underserved urban and rural areas throughout Southern Arizona.

We have a van outfitted with solar panels and lined with batteries to use the sun to power the projector and sound system and inflate the screen, making it possible for us to take films literally anywhere! Thank you to Technicians for Sustainability for donating the equipment and installation of the solar panels and batteries!

We want to thank our title sponsor Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment for their continuing support for the festival, and Loft Film Fest on the Road, helping us increase the impact and outreach of the fest.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Loft Film Fest 2016, and save the date NOVEMBER 8 – 12, 2017 for the 8th annual Loft Film Fest!
