Senator Doherty's legal practice focuses on patent law. He served in the GeneralAssembly from2002 to 2009 before being elected to the State Senate in 2009. He currently serves on the following committees: Education and Judiciary. Assemblyman John DiMaio is the president of A. DiMaio & Son, lnc. He served on the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders from 2000-2009 and was elected to the GeneralAssembly in 2009. He currently serves on the following committees: Budget, Commerce & Economic Development, Joint Budget Oversight, and Legislative Services Commission. Assemblyman Erik Peterson graduated from N.C. State with a B.A. in Business Management and Temple University Law School. He served on the Hunterdon County Board of Chosen Freeholders irom2006-2009 and was elected to the General Assembly in 2009. He has been an Assistant Republican Whip since 2014 and was Policy Co- Chair from 2012-2013.
