ABSTRACT: Information about the finding, descriptive analysis and epigraphic study of two roman altars, unpublished, from the parish of Sá, Arcos de Valdevez, in Alto Minho, one anepigraphic and another with a votive inscription dedicated to Sol Invictus or Mithra, interpretable as a reference to the indigenous tradition of the hill – forts communities, whose importance falls within the introduction of Eastern cults in the peninsular northwestern under the Romans. Círculos Eleitorais Diz Respeito, Com Impacto, Fundamentalmente, Nas Eleições Para a Assembleia Da República
Proposta “Um Portugal mais Coeso Pela Democracia” Hélder Guerreiro Resumo O processo democrático e a democracia exigem um trabalho permanente de perceção sobre as realidades que assentam muitas vezes em transformações incompletas ou sentidos de pertença que nos escapam. A receita de hoje, quando queremos debelar o défice de participação das pessoas no processo democrático, passa sempre pela discussão em torno de novos modelos de democracia de proximidade nas suas dimensões representativa, participativa e/ou colaborativa. Os orçamentos participativos, os modelos de simplificação e modernização administrativa e os serviços de proximidade transformados em acesso online construíram uma narrativa de acesso permanente (à decisão e ao serviço) que, aparentemente, não está a contribuir para aumentar a participação das pessoas no processo eleitoral, designadamente para a Assembleia da República. Olhar para esta questão de forma especifica, obriga não só a um olhar para a recente história da democracia em Portugal, mas, fundamentalmente, obriga a promover uma discussão alargada sobre fundamentos, meios e processos de valorização da participação/implicação das pessoas no “desenho” do seu próprio destino. Neste aspeto as questões de proximidade ligadas a questões de pertença têm, do meu ponto de vista, o papel mais relevante na medida em que só assim se consegue associar de forma direta o voto ao representante. Claro que esta questão tem algumas variáveis associadas, mas, no presente trabalho, o território (circulo eleitoral) será a questão analisada. Não porque se entenda que pode resolver sozinho, mas porque é a base para que as outras variáveis possam ser analisadas. É neste sentido que propomos a criação interna de uma unidade de missão para a promoção da participação cidadã nos processos eleitorais democráticos e propomos, desde logo, a alteração à lei eleitoral no que aos círculos eleitorais diz respeito, com impacto, fundamentalmente, nas eleições para a Assembleia da República. -

The Effect of the Establishment of the Portuguese Republic on the Revenue of Secular 1 Brotherhoods—the Case of “Bom Jesus de Braga” Paulo Mourão2 Abstract Following its establishment in 1910, the First Portuguese Republic adopted a markedly anticlerical profile during its early years. Consequently, we hypothesize that the revenue of Portuguese religious institutions should reflect a clear structural break in 1910. However, one of Portugal’s most important historical pilgrimage sites (“Bom Jesus de Braga”) does not seem to have experienced a very significant break. Relying on time series econometrics (consisting primarily of recurring tests for multiple structural breaks), we studied the series of the Bom Jesus revenue between 1863 and 1952 (i.e., between the confiscation of church property by the constitutional monarchy and the stabilization of the Second Republic). It was concluded that 1910 does not represent a significant date for identifying a structural break in this series. However, the last quarter of the nineteenth century cannot be neglected in terms of the structural changes occurring in the Bom Jesus revenue. Consequentemente, poderíamos supor que as receitas das instituições religiosas portuguesas refletiram quebras estruturais em 1910. No entanto, um dos mais importantes centros históricos de peregrinação de Portugal (o "Bom Jesus de Braga") parece ter passado esses anos sem quebras significativas. Baseando-nos em análises econométricas de séries temporais (principalmente testes sobre quebras estruturais), estudámos com detalhe a série de receitas de Bom Jesus entre 1863 e 1952 (ou seja, entre o confisco da propriedade da igreja pela monarquia constitucional e a estabilização da Segunda República). -

El Camino Viana do Castelo – Caminha / A Guarda Last stage of our Portuguese Coastal Way in Portuguese lands. This fifth day will take us from Viana do Castelo to Caminha, where we can spend the night or take the ferry that will take us directly to A Guarda, the entrance to this Jacobean Route in Galicia. This stage has two variants: the “official” one, which runs through the interior, or else tour the successive beaches. Vila Praia de Âncora will be the meeting point of both. Both the difficulty and the distance are similar with both options. The only difference is that the "inland" path is marked with yellow arrows and the coastal alternative is not. Anyway, you have no loss. Everything will depend on our preferences. Viana do Castelo - Vila Praia de Âncora by the coast. If we choose to travel this first section by the sea, we will do the Way to Vila Praia de Âncora crossing the long sandy areas of the area. From Viana you just have to take Avenida do Atlântico and go to the North beach. From here it will be about 18 kilometers, approximately, that will pass along the GR-1 and the Ecovía Litoral Norte, alternating sections paved with wooden walkways. The entrance to Vila Praia de Âncora can be done directly by the beach, stepping on sand, or the shoulder of the N-13 road. If you choose this last section, we ask you to take extreme precautions. Geres-Amares-Sta-Maria-Do-Bouro
IN & OUT This 12th century monastery currently combines Baroque, Rococo, Neo-classical and Contemporary styles. IN n one of Portugal’s most admired landscapes we will find the Pousada de Santa Maria do Bouro. Located Iin the council of Amares, in the Minho region, it was a Cistercian Monastery in the 12th century. The remodeling project was undertaken by Eduardo Souto de Moura, one of the most relevant names in world architecture today. The building is made of granite façades (the characteristic style of the region) and was remodeled respecting the old traces, yet complying with the requirements of the highest comfort of nowadays. Guests can see statues of historical characters, including Saint Bernardo, Virgem da Assunção and five kings from the time of the foundation of the Portuguese nation. The complex also hosts an early church and a sacristy with glazed tiles from the 18th century, covering the walls. From its windows, guests have a look onto the charming gardens, a reminder of passed times. The Monastery of Santa Maria de Bouro was wealthy and under royal protection. IN The Pousada is harmoniously integrated in the surrounding natural landscape, the Peneda-Gerês National Park. The list below includes the names and addresses of facilities disclosed to us by vendors under the requirements of Disney’s ILS Program for our vertical business, which includes our own retail businesses and internal operations. Disney’s vertical business comprises a wide range of product categories including apparel, toys, electronics, food, home goods, personal care, books and others.
