CHARITY GOLF DAYS

Charity Golf Days are welcomed at Randpark. A discounted group rate is available on a Monday and Tuesday and it is suggested that Charities make use of this special rate on these days.

SHOTGUN START GOLF DAYS

There is a R6500-00 surcharge to book a shot gun start.

It is recommended that you book at least 2 weeks prior to your Event. Randpark can provide pay packets and caddy vouchers if the cost of the caddies is included as part of the Corporate Day i.e. the Company is paying for Caddies. This amount will need to be pre-paid and we charge a R500.00 handling fee for this service.

Corporate Golf Tuition for Non-Golfers:

The Martin Whitcher Golf Schools offers tailor made corporate golf clinic packages to suit your needs, specifically designed for staff, clients or guests that do not play golf but would still like to participate in your Company’s Corporate Day. GOLF CARTS

50 Golf carts are available and can be for the company, or players account at R380.00 per Cart i.e. R190.00 p/p. Additional carts are available from an external operator. Kindly note, full payment upfront will be required in order to confirm a booking.

Please take time to read through the important sponsor information below and pass this on to those who will be manning your sponsored area.

Signage & Advertising:

. On the day of the event, time for setup is from 07:00 - 09:00. . Branding must be delivered a day prior to the golf day after 13:00; alternatively, branding can be delivered on the day, provided it is between 07:00 till 09:00. . Please ensure it is labeled, indicating which hole it must be delivered to. . Stuart, Golf Manager – 082 3831982 or [email protected] will assist with field marshals to take you out to your hole, provided it is in the time frame as stipulated above, please let him know when you have arrived. . Should you need to deliver your signage earlier in the week, this must be done by special arrangement with the Events Manager, Gaby 011 215 8603 / 072 247 8565 or [email protected]

Watering Holes at Sponsored Areas:

. At a fee of R100-00 the club hires out 1 x square table (1m x 1.2m) and 2 chairs on request. Please make sure you book these early as they are limited. The club does not provide table cloths or umbrellas, please bring your own. . Sponsors must purchase beverage stock from the club for giveaway at a watering hole. A zinc bath for the ice will be provided. You may request our beverage price list from the Events Manager. We issue by the case load and take returns by the case load. Arrangements for this must be made at least 5 days prior. . Drinks provided will be for the sponsor's own account. Beverage requirements must be paid for on the day, either by credit card or cash. Should you wish to do an EFT transfer, please organize payment with Gaby at least a week prior to the event. . Please make sure that all banners are removed on the day of the event. The Club will not be held responsible for lost banners and signage. The area must be left clear and free of litter please.

HALFWAY HOUSE

Halfway house can be for the players account (cash) or the Company’s account. A voucher of +/- R 90.00 per player should be enough for something to eat and drink depending on what the player chooses. Vouchers can be supplied by Randpark if given at least five days’ notice.

CATERING

Catering at the registration can be arranged. Various menu options are available to cater for your specific needs. Prize giving catering can be arranged, together with the prize giving venue, with our Events Manager, Gaby Lubeck.

DRESS CODE

Relaxed dress codes are today the norm and it is, accordingly, difficult to apply dress rules. However, extremes of “casualness” cannot be tolerated at a . We require golfers to wear recognised golfing attire on the golf courses and practice areas. Members and guests entering the clubhouse or using the verandas are also required to be neatly dressed. T-shirts and slip slops are not acceptable.

COURSE ETIQUETTE

. Be mindful of the pace of play, keep up to the group in front. Allow quicker players to play through . Call the players behind through in case of lost ball. . Rake bunkers, fill divots, repair pitch marks on the greens. . Pick up if you cannot score.

LIGHTNING POLICY

When the siren sounds play is immediately suspended and players MUST return to the clubhouse as speedily as possible. Should the all clear sound, players are welcome to proceed back onto the courses. The detectors are automated and set to detect lightning activity at a 4km boundary radius. Management and committee have been requested to ensure that the policy is adhered to, so please co–operate as these measures are designed and intended to ensure player safety. It is the discretion of the golf day organizers as to how competition results will be tallied.

PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS You will appreciate that in order to assist The Club’s finances, prompt settlement of the account for the event is necessary. The deposit amount is calculated on the amount of players and the green fee rate, this is due within 10 days of Randpark Club receiving your booking. The full estimated event account will be payable by members and by non-members a minimum of 14 working days prior to the event date, on presentation of an Banquet Event Order. A tax invoice will be generated after your event for reference purposes. Please also note that in order to assist Club administration, only one account will be presented for the event, regardless of how many parties may be responsible for payment. All additional fees incurred on the event day / night will be invoiced to the client within 2 working days of the event for full settlement.
