WAKE FOREST TOURNAMENT 9/ 2 vs. Campbell W, 3-2 SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS 4 vs. Connecticut W, 1-0 • The Appalachian State Mountaineers have started the 2011 season 3-3-0 with wins over UNC Asheville, Longwood and Virginia Commonwealth. The Mountaineers average 8.2 HILTON GARDEN HOKIE INVITATIONAL shots per game, while connecting on four goals this season. 9 VT vs. NEBRASKA L, 3-4 # • Freshman Julia Holz leads App State with two goals on the season and seven shots. 11 VT vs. LOYOLA (Md.)
