You see, I was found abandoned in a ditch in Hamp- stead. When I got to the vet’s office, they discovered that I am also blind and heartworm positive. But wait! Just like they say, there is a silver lining to every cloud. Mine is that I can still see shad- ows, and I have a sponsor who is willing to pay for my heartworm treatment. I can walk around just fine, and I tilt my head in order to see better and sense what’s around me. I would love to have a foster home where I can have peace and quiet during my recovery from the heartworm treatment. I am a very sweet boy who absolutely loves all people. I do well with other dogs, too (girls especially), as long as we are introduced slowly. In fact, I would probably benefit from another dog in the home to act as my ’seeing eye dog’.
