Two locally owned radio stations win “Best Morning Show” and “Best On-Air Personality”

(Eugene, Ore.) — The KMGE-FM Mix 94.5’s “Liz & Reilly – The Mix Chix” morning radio show and The KKNU-FM New Country 93.3’s “Barrett, Fox & Berry” morning radio show, have each recently received Association of Broadcasters awards. Mix 94.5 received the award for “Best Morning Show – Radio” in the state and New Country 93.3 received the award for “Best Radio On-Air Personality or Team” in the state. John Tilson, President of McKenzie River Broadcasting responded, “We are grateful to the OAB for the recognition, and we are honored for the opportunity to deliver high quality live, local, fun and informative programming to our listeners.”

“Liz & Reilly – The Mix Chix” and “Barrett, Fox & Berry” are Eugene-based morning shows featuring on-air personalities Liz Kelly and Mary Reilly on KMGE-FM Mix 94.5 and Bill Barrett, Tim Fox and Tracy Berry on KKNU-FM New Country 93.3. The Barrett, Fox & Berry morning show has also recently received an Academy of Country Music Award for “Broadcast Personality of the Year – Small Market.”

The Oregon Association of Broadcasters, customarily known as the OAB, is a member supported trade association representing the management of Radio and Television stations in the state of Oregon. Membership consists of 28 of the 28 commercial TV stations, and 182 of the 195 commercial Radio stations.
