Formed in 2002, Imusicapella is a choir based at the in City, . The choir regularly sings at the Imus and St. Peregrine Chapel. Imusicapella has already embarked in nine (9) international concert tours in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and the US States of California, Nevada, Illinois, Iowa, Virginia, Washington DC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.

They were the recipient of the “General Licerio Topacio Special Award ” during the 2006 Parangal ng Bayan ng Imus for being an outstanding group of the city. They were a 3-time recipient of the Ani ng Dangal Award (Harvest of Honors) in 2012, 2013, and 2016 by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). They have been successful in achieving top prizes in local and national choral competitions. They won the following:

Imusicapella has recorded five CDs which were all produced in Germany - "You are the Light"(2003), “Joy to the World"(2003), “One More Gift”(2005), "Cantate Domino"(2011), and “I’ll Make Music” (2015).

Imusicapella has the purpose to promote, advance and uphold Philippine culture in the country and internationally through an abiding commitment to choral excellence. They have become steadfast in their goal of attaining choral distinction and recognition as one of the Philippines' finest vocal ensembles.

TRISTAN CALISTON IGNACIO Conductor

Winner of the 2015 G ünther-Mittergradnegger Preis for the best interpretation of a contemporary choral work in Spittal, Austria; the 2011 Conductor's Prize at the 6th HARMONIE Festival in Lindenholzhausen, Germany and the 2007 Pro Musica Viva Maria Strecker Daelen Preis, the Conductor's Prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary choral work in Marktoberdorf, Germany, Tristan Caliston Ignacio is the founder and conductor of Imusicapella. He has molded the group into one of the best choirs in the country.

He has led Imusicapella in winning top prizes in national and international choral competitions. Under his direction, the group emerged as the first Philippine church choir to win a first prize and grand prix award in an international choral competition in August 2003.

Graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Tourism at the University of Santo Tomas, he was a member of the UST Singers. He was a recipient of the 2009 Gawad Hen.Emilio Aguinaldo, the highest honors given by the Province of Cavite for his outstanding achievements in the field of music as well as the 2009 Col. Jose S Tagle Award given by the City of Imus as one of the Most Outstanding Imuse ño. In 2012, he was an Ani ng Dangal Awardee in the field of music by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts at the Malaca ñan Palace.

As the chairman of the 2011 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) - Youth Choir Category, he has travelled around the country and served as jury in all of its regional choral competitions. Presently, he is also the music director of the Depertment of Energy Chorale, the GSIS Chorale, The Sisters of Mary Boystown Choir, and the Imus Institute Vocal Ensemble.
