Works designated "MQS Approved" are also approved under the Materials Quality Scheme in accordance with LR's Rules for the Manufacture, Testing and Certification of Materials, Chapter 1 Section 2. Approval only covers the manufacturing location listed, it does not extend to other forges owned by the same company. The local LR surveying office is also listed.
