CAST BIOS

JOHN LARROQUETTE (McBride) – Five-time Emmy® Award winner John Larroquette has starred in the television comedies “,” “The John Larroquette Show,” “Payne” and, most recently, “Happy Family.” He displayed his dramatic side with an Emmy® winning guest-starring stint on “.” He co-starred in the miniseries “Tenth Kingdom” and starred in and executive produced the telefilm “One Special Victory.” Prior to tackling the role of cop-turned-attorney Mike McBride in “McBride,” Larroquette starred in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Wedding Daze.”

Larroquette has had numerous memorable roles in feature films including “Blind Date,” “Summer Rental,” “Stripes,” “Choose Me,” “ III: The Search for Spock,” “Altered States,” “Cat People,” and “Twilight Zone: The Movie.” Recent film credits include “Kill Your Darlings” and the upcoming “Southland Tales.”

Born and raised in , Larroquette was an only child who had studied music for 11 years by the time he was 17. He loved to write, considered entering the priesthood, had a talent for mimicry, and ultimately won a drama scholarship. Joining the Naval Reserve to satisfy his wanderlust, Larroquette always returned home to New Orleans, where he worked as an FM disc jockey.

Larroquette resides in Sun Valley, California, with his wife and three children.

MARTA DUBOIS (Detective Sgt. Roberta Hansen) – Marta DuBois made her feature film debut in Tony Bill’s “Boulevard Nights,” which has become a cult classic within the Latino community. Recently, she starred in the critically acclaimed indie hit “Luminarias.”

On television, DuBois has guest-starred in countless hit series including “L.A. Law,” “Matlock,” “Murder, She Wrote,” “Walker, Texas Ranger,” “The Division,” “King of Queens” and the daytime drama “.” Most recognized for her recurring role as Tom Selleck’s wife Michelle in “Magnum, P.I.” and her charismatic turn as Ardra in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” DuBois also starred in her own series, “Tales of the Gold Monkey,” as well as in various TV movies including “Grace Kelly” and “Johnnie Mae Gibson: FBI.” (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL / MCBRIDE, “Dogged” Cast Bios – Page 2

DuBois’ stage credits include her critically acclaimed performance in Neil Simon’s The Gingerbread Lady, Tom Topor’s Nuts, Paris Barclay’s musical One Red Flower – Letters from ‘Nam, Ed Begley, Jr.’s hit musical Cesar & Ruben, and Selena, A Celebration of Life. The multi-talented actress also performs in her own cabaret show A Musical Evening with Marta DuBois.

MATT LUTZ (Phil Newberry) – After garnering significant attention from his role as Clay Gephardt in the opening sequence to the feature film “A Walk to Remember,” Matt Lutz was cast by the movie’s director, Adam Shankman, in his next hit, “Bringing Down the .”

Lutz had a supporting role in the theatrical release “End of the Spear.” His numerous television credits include a recurring role on the hit teen drama “Dawson’s Creek,” “7th Heaven,” “Boston Public,” “Las Vegas,” the TV movie “Amy & Isabelle,” and the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Murder Without Conviction.”

Born in Indiana and raised in North Carolina, Lutz is very active in musical theater. Among his myriad theater credits are leading roles in The Who’s Tommy, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Glass Menagerie, Oliver!, and “The Most Happy Fella with The Actors Co-op in Hollywood, California. Most recently he appeared in Into the Woods with the Actors’s Co-Op and in the LA premiere of the Jonathan Larson musical tick, tick, BOOM.

KUMA (Jesse) – Kuma Von Clifford is a mixed breed dog, most likely a Labrador/Husky cross. He was rescued from the South Central (Los Angeles) Animal Shelter on March 9th, 2002 by animal trainer Sarah Clifford and is estimated to be five years old.

Kuma has performed tricks at several charity events, appeared in two infomercials, and was runner-up in the “Americas Top Dog” TV special, chosen out of a field of 500 hopefuls to compete in a variety of physical and mental challenges.

In addition to his role in “McBride,” Kuma was seen opposite Chad Lowe in the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Fielders Choice” and will be seen in the upcoming Hallmark Channel’ original movie “Spring Thaw.” Other upcoming projects include the feature films “An American Crime” and “Man in the Chair.”

His many television credits include the television movies “Secret Santa,” “Miss Lettie and Me,” the Hallmark Channel original “Santa, Jr,” “The Last Dance,” “Buffalo Soldiers, “ “The Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald” “and “A Killing Affair,” and the miniseries “King” and “Roots: The Next Generation.” Robinson began his career on the stage in his native Houston and has appeared in more than 80 plays and directed 20.

JOANNA GOING (Sarah) – was familiar to television audiences for her roles on the daytime series “” and “Another World” and the primetime series “,” before she made her motion picture debut in “Wyatt Earp.” Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Rhode Island, she went on to appear in the feature films “Eden,” “Keys to Tulsa” “Inventing the Abbots” “Still Breathing,” “Phantoms” and “The Runaway Jury.” Her television credits include the movies “Cupid & Cate,” ”110 Gramercy Park,” “Home Alone 4” and “Women & Wallace” and the miniseries “Into the West” and “Children of the Dust.”

MICHELE GREENE (Judy) – Michele Greene, best known for her Emmy® nominated performance as Abby Perkins on “L.A. Law,” has recently been seen in the recurring role of Cynthia Burdett on “The Unit” and in the feature film “The Legend of Lucy Keyes.” In 2006 she published her first novel, “Chasing the Jaguar” and released her second CD, “Luna Roja,” celebrating the Latino side of her bilingual heritage. Besides frequent series guest-starring roles, the Los Angeles native has appeared in many television movies, including “Killer Flood: The Day the Dam Broke,” “L.A. Law: The Movie,” “Redeemer,” “Lightning: Fire from the Sky” and “Heart of a Child,” among others.

JON LINDSTROM (Barry) - For more than a decade, played Dr Kevin Collins, first on “” and then on its spin-off “,” for which he won a Digest Award in 1997. He also played Dr. Collins’ psychotic twin, Ryan Chamberlain, on “General Hospital.” He was already known to daytime TV fans for roles on “Generations,” “Santa Barbara” and “Rituals.” Since “Port Charles,” the Oregon native has appeared in the feature film “Must Love Dogs,” guest-starred on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Everwood,” and written the screenplay for the feature film “The Hard Easy,” for which he was also an executive producer.
