● To be eligible for athletic participation ○ Student-athletes must pass all their classes ○ Show satisfactory progress towards graduation ○ Maintain a 2.0 gpa per grading period ○ Be registered as a full-time student ● Students in 9th Grade ○ Grades will be checked and eligibility declared every 4 ½ weeks ● Students in 10th-12th Grade ○ Grades will be checked and eligibility declared every 9 weeks GPS Academic Eligibility Policy Cont’d

● If a student-athlete is declared ineligible, he/she will be ineligible for a minimum of one week ○ The student-athlete’s grades will be checked by the athletic office on a Monday and the same process will be followed until the student-athlete is eligible ● If a student-athlete is ineligible at the start of a semester, he/she will have the opportunity to regain his/her eligibility after ten school days GPS Academic Eligibility Policy Cont’d

● Online classes through CFS are being monitored and will be factored into the student-athlete’s eligibility check ● Michael Wirth follows up with each student-athlete that is ineligible until their grades are at the minimum requirements ● This is the minimum academic requirement to participate in athletics in GPS - many coaches have stricter academic policies in their programs Admission Prices-Regular Season

● Adults - $5 ● Students w/ID - $3 ● Students with an activity pass (must be shown at the entrance) - Free ● Children under 6 - Free Admission Prices-Away Games/State Play-Offs

● Admission prices at away games will most likely be different based on which school/district we are at ● State Play-offs ○ Adults - $10 ○ Students w/ID, Senior Citizens and Active Military - $5 ○ Children 6 and under - Free Individual/Family Season Passes

● Football ○ Individual - $20 ○ Family (2 Adults, 3 Children) - $80 ● Volleyball ○ Individual - $40 ○ Family (2 Adults, 3 Children) - $140 ● All Sport ○ Individual - $90 ○ Family (2 Adults, 3 Children) - $200 Issues…

● Student-athlete talks to the team head coach ● Parent addresses the team head coach ● Parent addresses the program head coach ● Parent contacts the athletic director ● Parent contacts the principal ● Parent contacts the district athletic director Traveling To/From Games ● If the head coach allows… ○ A transportation form must be completed and the head coach must have the original transportation form ● If the head coach does not allow ○ Your student-athlete must ride the bus to and from athletic events Sportsmanship/Parent Behavior Expectations

● Please remember just like your student-athlete, you represent your family and the Campo Verde Family at all athletic events ● Enjoy the game and allow your student-athlete to enjoy the game ● Please let the coaches coach-your job is to be a positive and supportive fan ● Officials are going to make bad calls-please let the coaches handle the officials ● If you are removed from an event you risk being prohibited from attending future events Student-Athlete Behavior Expectations

● Student-athletes are expected to represent the Campo Verde family to the highest standards at all times ○ Including behavior on social media ● Failure to do so could result in school and/or team consequences Booster Organizations

● The purpose of any booster organization is to support the program and not make decisions for the program ● The head coach of the program should be consulting with the booster organization regarding program wants and needs ● Board members organize and run the booster organization-they do not receive any “perks” from the school such as getting into athletic events for free Campo Verde Athletic Training
