This week’s March snowstorm rudely interrupted my post-Winter yard clean-up. The good news part (besides the extra moisture for our trees) is that I am now able to ease my conscience and type out a letter to let you know of all the behind-the-scenes dealings of the Edmonton Stamp Club lately. At the last meeting, Carol Warren collected change from all the members who participated in the Kiloware Night program and ended up REGULAR PUBLIC AUCTIONS selling almost 1500 stamps at a dime each. Deemed a success af the subsequent Board meeting, we were also informed that there were too WANTED IMMEDIATELY: many stamps to sort through in the time allotted and that many members saw only two or three of the trays out of the thirty-one that had been Single items !
