Jia Jing was born in Guangyuan, Sichuan, . In Jia Jing's works, the images are fragmented. Although they cannot be mirror images of real life, they seem to fit the surrounding real experience. At the same time, the appearance of various texts not only enhances the graphic features of the picture, but also forms an intertextual relationship with the image. If these images represent accidental and random words, then these words are symbols of reason and rules, and they sharpen and penetrate each other, forming a kind of multi-picture space.

Jia Jing's schemas are derived from the Internet and paper media, but they are flexible, alert, and changeable. The organic combination of reality and dream is a display and exploration of contemporary context! As he said: ”I use ready-made images from the Internet and paper media as materials for my work, but I don’t want to reproduce the images directly. I also don’t like the image reproduction of narrative painting. Instead, I use these images directly for secondary creation. In the process, my painting language was implanted".

In other words, Jia Jing implanted a work into the inner page of a picture book that did not exist at all to create an illusion of sketching the picture book. In fact, he is creating a virtual album inside of his work. But the images painted inside are real creations, it is not ready- made, it has undergone ideas and drafts. A series of techniques such as overhauling and detailing are completed one by one.

The experimentation and collectiveness of paintings are undoubtedly revealed in Jia Jing's work. The clear pop symbols and popular elements are misappropriated and collaged. Freedom and convergence are presented simultaneously. Popular elements are assimilated by subjective consciousness in the experiment, while the Pop symbols are sublimated between the shifting transformations of space. This implies a kind of unpredictability.
