Persönliche Motivation Seit meiner Kindheit singe ich in Formationen, die Pop- und Jazzmusik „a cappella“ präsentieren. Bereits während meiner Schulzeit am BORG Bad Radkersburg erhielt ich einen Einblick in die Welt der A-Cappella-Musik in großen (Chor) wie auch kleinen Formationen (z. B. Männerquartett). Durch die Mitgliedschaft im Pop-Chor Popvox unter der Leitung von Mani Mauser hat sich diese Faszination gefestigt und weiterentwickelt. Hier machte ich erste Erfahrungen im Arrangieren für A-cappella-Ensembles, indem ich zu Beginn vor allem Transkriptionen bestehender Arrangements von etablierten Gruppen, wie Take 6, Real Group, Vox One und Bauchklang, aber auch von YouTube-Musikern, die im Overdubbing-Verfahren1 A-Cappella-Arrangements kreieren, und von damals aufstrebenden Vokalgruppen wie Pentatonix und Home Free anfertigte. Im Laufe meines Lehramtsstudiums Musikerziehung schrieb ich zahlreiche A-Cappella-Arrangements für diverse Gruppen innerhalb und außerhalb der Universität, erforschte im Rahmen meiner Diplomarbeit dieses Gebiet und konnte Erkenntnisse daraus in meine Arbeit als Arrangeur einfließen lassen.
