Dispensary Selection Information

The information on this page contains important provisions to aid patients when applying for a registry identification card with the Vermont Marijuana Registry (VMR). Information to assist patient applicants designating a registered dispensary is located on the following pages.

• Registered patients are prohibited from obtaining usable marijuana from a registered dispensary and cultivating. A registered patient must choose to designate a dispensary or to cultivate.

• Registered patients who designate a dispensary to obtain usable marijuana, may not cultivate marijuana.

• Registered patients who elect to cultivate marijuana, may not obtain usable marijuana from a dispensary, but may purchase seeds/clones from any registered dispensary who provides this service.

• Registered patients who designate a dispensary to obtain usable marijuana, may only purchase marijuana from one dispensary and must designate the dispensary of his or her choice on the Registered Patient Application or Cardholder Information Notification form submitted to the VMR.

• A registered patient who designates a dispensary cannot change dispensaries for 30 days. After 30 days a registered patient may change his or her designated dispensary by completing and submitting a Cardholder Information Notification form and a $25 processing fee. The VMR will issue the registered patient a new registry identification card with a new registry identification number.

• ALL registered patients and caregivers MUST schedule an appointment to obtain marijuana, this includes seed and clones.

There are four registered dispensaries operating in Vermont; Champlain Valley Dispensary in Burlington, Vermont Patients Alliance in Montpelier, Grassroots Vermont in Brandon, and Southern Vermont Wellness in Brattleboro. Unless otherwise authorized by Vermont law, no more than four dispensaries are allowed to hold valid registration certificates at one time.

Fat Infusions We offer four different fat infusions in order to suit your dietary needs. These fats can be consumed on their own or used to create your own infused products, substituting them for either all or a portion of the fat in a recipe. Each fat is available in Indica & Sativa varieties. Strains may vary. Special orders will be considered for fats formulated for specific cannabinoid ratios. Minimum orders will apply. Companion Botanicals The purpose of this line of products is to welcome cannabis back into the complete herbal apothecary. Clone and Seed Clones and seeds are available to purchase for those registered patients who have chosen home cultivation. State regulations limit clone purchases to 7within a 30 day period. We offer an Indica and Sativa strain at all times, with selections varying throughout the year. You must provide to us a copy of your 3SquaresVT qualifcation along with a completed application form for our Discount Program. Veteran’s Discount All veterans will receive a 15% discount on all medicated products. Qualification for this discount will be via proof of veteran status, if applicable, i.e. a copy of their DD 214, along with other state or federal issued photo identification.

Delivery (Southern Vermont Wellness Only) Delivery is available in Southern and Central Vermont for an additional fee.

Hours of Operation (By Appointment Only) In times of inclement weather, we will follow the Chittenden and Windham County schedules for closing and delays. Hours may vary, so please reference our website for up to date information.

About Us Here at Grassroots Vermont we provide affordable, medical grade cannabis to patients throughout the Green Mountain State. The dispensary was founded by a local Vermont family. We grow our own indoor cannabis and produce our own natural products to cater to your specific needs. Delivery and Location We are proud to be the first dispensary to provide home delivery to patients anywhere in the Green Mountain State. If you would like to visit us in person please come see us at our dispensary in Brandon. We are conveniently located off Route 7.

Testing We are the only Vermont dispensary that uses a third-party lab to do our testing. ProVerde Laboratories is ISO certified and conducts our potency and contamination testing.

Pricing We provide discounts for patients that need financial assistance to purchase medicine, and we usually have a number of select strains on sale.

VPA is the first and only dispensary in Vermont to utilize natural sunlight for cultivation. Our first greenhouse harvest in 2015 was a huge success, and we received nothing but positive feedback from our patients in regards to quality, effectiveness and affordability.
