Savannah Golf Championship Hot Sheet Savannah Golf Championship Hot Sheet 1. Mark your calendars for 2020 Don’t miss the Savannah Golf Championship next March! Join us the week of March 30th, 2020, for the third edition of the Savannah Golf Championship. Competition rounds will begin on Thursday, April 2nd and conclude on Sunday, April 5th. Watch the next generation of PGA TOUR stars take on The Landings Club – Deer Creek Course as they compete for a spot on the PGA TOUR. 2. McCarthy on the bubble for PGA TOUR card Dan McCarthy, who earned his first Korn Ferry Tour title in Savannah, currently sits at No. 26 in The 25. With only two events remaining in the Regular Season, the 34-year-old could secure his first PGA TOUR card with a good finish at this week’s Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae. It is estimated that players with 800 Korn Ferry Tour Points at the end of the Regular Season will secure their card. McCarthy currently has 631 points so far this season. McCarthy, originally from Syracuse, New York, has made the cut in 13 of 18 events this year. 3. Regular Season entering home stretch With only two events remaining in the Regular Season, players are looking to secure their spot on the PGA TOUR. With his victory last week, Harry Higgs became the most recent player to officially cement his spot on TOUR. Rafael Campos, who won The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club earlier this year, is one point away from the 800- point threshold estimated to secure players a PGA TOUR card. So far this season, 16 players have earned more than 800 points. At the conclusion of the WinCo Foods Portland Open presented by KraftHeinz, players with 375 points or more will likely earn a spot in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. .

Hall began Thursday’s opening round at Oakridge Country Club near Salt Lake City in idyllic fashion, notching birdies on Nos. 1, 2 and 3 to race out to a 3-under-par start before hitting the brakes hard with a double-bogey on the par-4 fifth. “Over the last few weeks I’ve been playing some great golf and I knew if I made a double-bogey I could get it back,” said Hall after his round. “I followed that up with two birdies, I stayed patient, and a lot of birdies came on the back nine.” After turning in 3-under 33 (thanks to birdies on Nos. 6 and 7), the Hayle, England, native birdied 11, 12 and 13 to reach 6-under on the day before closing with birdies on 17 and 18 for a 5-under 30 and a career-best opening round of 8-under 63.

We will not forget. We cannot forget,” Bud Salter, who lost his sister, Catherine, said at ground zero. President Donald Trump laid a wreath at the Penta- gon, telling victims’ relatives: “This is your anniversary of personal and permanent loss.” “It’s the day that has replayed in your memory a thousand times over. The last kiss. The last phone call. The last time hearing those pre- cious words, ‘I love you,’” the president said. Later, former Presi- dent George W. We just wanted to play better. I started off the round and I got a little rattled on the back nine (his first nine). Then going into the front nine on No. 2, a couple three putts and I was able to right the ship from there. “I think I hit every green on the back almost and gave myself plenty of opportunities, which was pretty cool. I just have to make couple more putts tomorrow and see what happens, but I think the way I was able to turn it around after being 3-over through my first 11 holes was pretty solid.” Curry’s playing partner, Martin Trainer, who is currently No. 4 on the Regular Season money list and the only repeat winner of the 2018 season, was especially impressed by the Bay Area star’s skills. “His game as a whole was really impressive,” Trainer remarked.
