This work has been completed under the guidance of Prof. K. Ravi Babu, Dept. of Economics, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

Ph.D. completed as a full-time Research Scholar in the Dept. of Economics, Andhra University and awarded in October, 2008 under the supervision of Prof. L.K.Mohana Rao & Prof. K.Ravi Babu on “Economic efficiency of Bt. Cotton Vis-à-vis Traditional Cotton Varieties – A Study in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh”.

Awarded with Rajeev Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF), sponsored by UGC and the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, to pursue the Ph.D. in Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

1. Presently working in Dr.V.S.Krishna Govt. Degree College(A), Maddilapalem, Visakhapatnam – 13, A.P., as Lecturer in economics, on being transferred from Govt. Degree College, Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam Dist.

2. Worked in Govt. Degree College, Sabbavaram, Visakhapatnam Dist., as Lecturer in Economics From 10 th July, 2012 to 23 rd June, 2016, on being transferred from GDC, Narsipatnam.

3. Selected by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for the post of Lecturer in Economics, appointed in Govt. Degree College, Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam district and worked as a regular faculty member in the Dept. of Economics from 7th July, 2008 to 9 th July, 2012 (4 years).

4. Worked as a supervisor in Visakhapatnam district for the “Impact Assessment Study of Andhra Pradesh Rural Poverty Reduction Project Velugu (IKP)” funded by the World Bank, conducted by the Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS), Hyd.
