INTRODUCTION 1.1 Introduction The Design and Access Statement (DAS) has been prepared by CSA Environmental on behalf of Gladman Developments Ltd for a proposed residential development at land off Whittingham Lane, Goosnargh (the Site). The Site lies within the administrative area of Preston City Council. Goosnargh is located in Lancashire, within Preston City Council and the Parish of Whititngham. The Site is located to the north of Whittingham Lane (B5269) on the western edge of the settlement of Goosnargh, and measures 7.89 hectares. GOOSNARGH LANE The submitted planning application seeks outline planning consent for a high quality sustainable development comprising the following: SITE CHURCH LANE WHITTINGHAM • Residential development for up to 145 GOOSNARGH B5269 dwellings.
