Construction of an instrumental simulator for iSHELL, a new high-resolution near-infrared spectro- graph for NASA’s IRTF Over 100 nights observing experience on Steward Observatory’s 1.55 meter Kuiper Telescope: • A multi-year search for exoplanet transit orbital parameter changes with Dr. Laird Close of SO • Observations of subdwarf-B pulsating stars with Dr. Elizabeth Green of SO • H-alpha observations of variable stars for Dr. Tom Flemming of SO • Early observations of newly discovered supernovae for various parties ∼ 14 nights observing at the Caltech Submilimeter Observatory on Mauna Kea with Alain Khayat, searching for signatures of volcanic outgassing on the surface of Mars. Several nights between the Bok 2.3 meter telescope at Kitt Peak and Steward Observatory’s MMT Work with K-short photometry of the GL569B young brown dwarf system to investigate multiplicity Data reduction of archival data of the V838 Monoceros outburst object

Teaching Experience

• Instructed Summer section of Astronomy 110 (Survey of Astronomy) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Public Outreach
