Il CTI è nato dalla volontà, attraverso un rapporto di reciproca collaborazione, di facilitare le sinergie tra Trenitalia e Tper per incrementare il livello quantitativo e qualitativo del servizio. SFP Emilia Romagna Scarl SFP Emilia-Romagna s.c.a r.l. (“SFP”) è la società consortile costituita da Trenitalia S.p.A. (per una quota pari al 70%) e Tper S.p.A. (per una quota pari al 30%), a valle dell’aggiudicazione della procedura di gara indetta per l’affida- mento dei servizi ferroviari regionali in Emilia Romagna, al fine di garantire il coordinamento e lo svolgimento delle prestazioni da rendere in esecuzione del Contratto di Servizio di trasporto pubblico di passeggeri per ferrovia e di servizi autobus sostituivi di competenza della Regione medesima.
