Logistics Services for Stores Begin in Kazakhstan --Senko appointed to provide logistics services for RTS---

SENKO, Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Osaka City; president: Yasuhisa Fukuda; hereafter referred to as Senko) was appointed to provide logistics services for MINISTOP, which will open 's first in Central and started logistics services for convenience stores in Kazakhstan. Previously, Senko has offered logistics services to various retailers, including GMS, , home centers, drug stores, and discount stores. The agreement with Ministop will be its first inside/outside of Japan in the field of convenience stores. Last May, MINISTOP Co, Ltd. (headquarters: Chiba City; president: Nobuyuki Abe) and Senko established a merger, RTS-Ministop (headquarters: Republic of Kazakhstan; hereafter referred to as RTS-Ministop) with RTS LTD. LLP (headquarters: Kazakhstan). The company has pushed ahead with preparations to launch Japan's first convenience store in Central Asia, and opened its first store at 9 a.m. on January 18, 2013 (local time) in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Once appointed to provide the logistics services, Senko established JS (Japan Select) Logistics Center in Almaty. The center holds not only a space to store goods at room temperature, but also refrigerators and freezers. In addition, the center will supply merchandise stored in these three different temperature ranges to the store by using vehicles that transport refrigerated and frozen goods. Going forward, RTS-Ministop will expand its network of stores in Kazakhstan, with a focus on Almaty. Senko plans to grow its business along with the expansion of these stores. The logistics business in Kazakhstan will be overseen by Japan Select (headquarters: Kazakhstan; established 2010), a local subsidiary wholly owned by Senko.
