Severe Weather Alerts Winter weather has certainly arrived! All schools in the North School District will remain OPEN, if at all possible, every day. Any district-wide closure will be decided by 6:30 am at the latest. School closure information will be provided to the following stations for an announcement:

Television: Global TV, CBC TV, City TV, CTV Fairchild TV

Radio: CBC AM 690, CHMB AM 1320, CHMJ AM 730, CHQM FM 103.5, CFB T FM 94.5, CKNW AM 980, CKWX News AM 1130

Any necessary individual school closures or delayed openings due to unique circumstances (e.g., extreme snow conditions, power outages) will be announced as early as possible in the same manner and will be posted on the school district’s website at http://www.sd44.ca

Please do not call the school office to see whether the school is open; office staff will be occupied with making emergency arrangements.

Lost and Found We have, among other items, 46 jackets in our Lost and Found. The items are laid out on a table, near the office. As you come to drop off and pick up children, please take a look and retrieve any items which belong to your family.

Comfort Kits A Ziploc bag and a page of instructions were sent home with your child last week. Please put the requested items into the bag, and return it to the classroom teacher by this Friday, November 30.

PAC Fundraiser Just a reminder that the Poinsettia and Holiday Wreath Fundraiser ends this Friday. Be sure to complete your order and return it on time, to support this worthwhile fund raiser.

Report Card Conferences It’s not too late to contact your child’s teacher if you missed the Doodle sign up. We would like every family to come in this term to discuss the children’s progress. Please contact the teacher directly, or ask Mrs. Harman at the front office to assist you.
