CODFREURCOR-ის მე-8 საერთაშორისო კონფერენცია 8e colloque international du CODFREURCOR 8th International CODFREURCOR Conference ეროვნული ლიტერატურა თარგმანში Les littératures nationales en traduction National Literatures in Translation მოხსენებების თეზისები / Résumés de communication Communication Summary ბათუმის შოთა რუსთაველის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტი, საქართველო Université d’État Chota Roustavéli de Batoumi, Géorgie Shota Rustaveli State University, Batumi, Georgia Batoumi - ბათუმი - Batumi 31.08.2020 – 02.09.2920 Natia ABASHIDZE, Professeur assistant, Nino GURGENIDZE, PhD, Tamar MACHUTADZE, PhD, Université d’État Chota Roustavéli de Batoumi ფრაზეოლოგიზმები და თარგმნის თავისებურებები ფრანგულ და ქართულ ენებში თეზისები: თითოეულ ენას ცნებებისა და საგნების ასახვის საკუთარი მექანიზმი აქვს. საერთო შინაარსს სხვადასხვა მეტაფორული კავშირებით გადმოსცემენ. რთულია, ვთარგმნოთ წმინდა ეროვნული კოლორიტის მქონე ერთეულები, მათ სწორად უნდა შევუსაბამოთ ეკვივალენტები არა მხოლოდ სემანტიკური, არამედ შესაბამისი ფორმულირებით. კვლევაში განვიხილავთ ფრაზეოლოგიური ერთეულების თარგმნის სპეციფიკას, მათ მეტაფორულ ბუნებას და სტრუქტურულ მოდელებს. ცხადია, რომ ფრაზემა არ წარმოადგენს მხოლოდ ენობრივ ნიშანს, არამედ კულტურულ ფენომენს განეკუთვნება. კულტურა მნიშვნელოვან როლს თამაშობს ფრაზეოლოგიზმების წარმოქმნაში. კულტურულ-ენობრივ სეგმენტში კი თავისი წვლილი შეაქვს მეტაფორიზაციას. კვლევაში გთავაზობთ ფრაზეოლოგიზმების კულტურული ასპექტების კვლევის ძირითად ტენდენციებს. გამოვყოფთ კავშირს აღნიშნულ ერთეულებსა და კულტურას შორის ორი ენის ფარგლებში. ვადგენთ მეტაფორების ფუნქციონირების ნორმებს და ფრაზეოლოგიური ერთეულების თარგმნის, კალკირების თუ შესაბამისი მნიშვნელობების მოდელებს. მიუხედავად მსგავსებისა, ფრანგული და ქართული ფრაზეოლოგიზმები მკვეთრად გამოხატული სპეციფიკური ნიშნებით ხასიათდებიან. საკვანძო სიტყვები: ფრაზეოლოგიზმები, კონცეპტები, მეტაფორიზაცია, კულტურა, თარგმანი Abstract: Each language has its own mechanism to reflect concepts and objects. Common content is conveyed through various metaphorical connections. It is difficult to translate units with purely national coloring, we have to choose correct equivalents not only from semantic point of view, but also appropriate wording. In the study we will discuss the specifics of the translation of the phraseological units, their metaphorical nature and structural models. It is clear that the phrase is not only a sign of language, but also it belongs to a cultural phenomenon. Culture plays an important role in the formation of phraseologisms. The study deals with the study of key trends of the cultural aspects of phraseology. We will highlight the connection between these entities and culture within the two languages. We define the rules of functioning of metaphors and the models of translation, calculus or corresponding meanings of phraseological units. Despite the similarities, French and Georgian phraseologies are characterized by distinctly specific signs. Le défi de la traduction des proverbes en français Résumé : À la fin du XIXe siècle et au tout début du XXe siècle, les intellectuels français manifestent de l’indifférence pour la littérature italienne. Des écrivains à succès en Italie comme Carducci, Pascoli et Verga sont généralement ignorés en France. Les raisons sont nombreuses et pour ce qui est de Giovanni Verga en particulier, la nature linguistique de ses textes, avec un très grand nombre de mots et d’expressions siciliennes, ne favorise pas la traduction en français. Toutefois, grâce à Edouard Rod, écrivain suisse qui connaissait le milieu littéraire de l’époque, Giovanni Verga eut la chance de rencontrer Zola et de voir ses Malavoglia traduit en français en 1887. Aujourd’hui, il existe plusieurs traductions françaises de ce chef-d’œuvre de la littérature italienne. Dans notre communication, qui s’inscrit dans l’axe de recherche du colloque « Le problème de la traduction des dialectes et des phraséologismes en langue étrangère », nous nous proposons de voir comment un nombre assez important de proverbes qui appartiennent à la tradition orale de la Sicile, région italienne où se déroule l’action du roman, ont été traduits en français dans cette première traduction faite par Edmond Rod. Ces proverbes apparaissent parfois en italien standard, mais très souvent en dialecte sicilien, ce qui n’a pas rendu facile la tâche de ce premier traducteur. Nous nous proposons de comparer ensuite cette première traduction avec des traductions plus contemporaines (Valot 1957 et Darmon 1988) pour comprendre la stratégie utilisée par deux autres traducteurs pour ce qui est de la traduction de ces formes fixes qui donnent toujours du fil à retordre lorsqu’on les traduits dans une autre langue. Mots-clés: traduction, proverbe, sicilien, français, littérature italienne Abstract: At the end of the 19th Century and at the beginning of the 20th century, French intellectuals showed indifference to Italian literature. Successful writers in Italy like Carducci, Pascoli and Verga are generally ignored in France. There are many reasons for this, and in particular for Giovanni Verga, the linguistic nature of his texts, with a very large number of Sicilian expressions, does not favor translation into French. However, thanks to Edouard Rod, a Swiss writer who knew the literary milieu of the time, Giovanni Verga had the chance to meet Zola and to have his Malavoglia translated into French in 1887. Today, there are several French translations of this book. In our presentation, we set out to see how a fairly large number of proverbs that belong to the oral tradition of Sicily, the Italian region where the action of the novel takes place, were translated into French in this first translation made by Edmond Rod. These proverbs sometimes appear in standard Italian, but very often in Sicilian dialect, which did not make the task of this first translator easy. We then propose to compare this first translation with more contemporary translations (Valot 1957 and Darmon 1988) to understand the strategy used by two other translators with regard to the translation of these fixed forms which always give a hard time when we translate them into another language. It also designates that the structural and versional set-up of poetic language means the laws of word borrowing. The concrete examples of lexical inter-changing from Russian into Georgian language are analysed with inclusive line organization. The circumstances of using foreign lexics in translation and in the original fiction are deeply shown in the above mentioned article. It also gives the diferences between borrowings and lexica interferation, also it characterises the language of borrower. From the point of the author s view, this process has always been very actual and it is still very active nowadays, as the translation from one language into another defines the literary relationship between people. The circle of questions in the article are determined by the poetic language and the functions of borrowings. Borrowing foreign lexical words and the process of adaptation in prose is the other subject of investigation.
