Malakoff Corporation Berhad (“Malakoff”) is the leading Independent Power Producer in with the core focus on power generation, water desalination, as well as captive electricity distribution and district cooling. Backed by decades of technical expertise, Malakoff offers comprehensive solutions in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for power and water plants. Currently, Malakoff is Malaysia’s largest independent power producer (IPP), with a net generating capacity of 5,020 MW from its six (6) power plants that run on coal and gas.

On the international front, Malakoff has interests in power and water desalination plants located in the Middle East & North Africa.

Electricity Distribution & Chilled Water Supply Electricity distribution activities are carried out by the wholly- 22.24% owned subsidiary, Malakoff Utilities Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Anglo-Oriental (Annuities) Wirazone Sdn. Bhd.). Malakoff Utilities currently supplies centralised Sdn.
