Diagnostic Notes Adult body length 3-4.5mm;ponotum and elytra entirely obscured by recumbent golden yellow setae;hind femur as long as hind tibia, Can be confused with Trigonogenius globulus but can be distinguish by: Trigonogenius globulus has a hind femur stout with apical one third expanded, elytra and pronotum covered with gray and brown adpressed hair;Niptus hololeucus has a hind femur slenderwith apical one third expanded, elytra and pronotum covered with goldenadpressed hair.
