I fortsætter igennem Dragerupskoven ned til is huset ved Munkholmbroen. Her vil der være mulighed for lidt forfriskninger og nyde den smukke udsigt inden turen går videre over Munkholmbroen eller en 10 km sløjfe via Eriks- holm og Arnakke, som er skiltet ”Fjordstien”. Bemærk vælges Munkholmbroen kommer en strækning på ca. 2 km uden cykelsti, på stræk- ningen, afhængig af tidspunkt på dagen, kan der forekomme en del trafik. After Elverdamsvej please take Fjords- tien again and follow the signs. You will now experience a beautiful scenery past the Ejby Ådal stream and Vellerup to the cable ferry at Hammer Bakker. After 6 minutes sailing you are ready to go ashore and experience Orø. Read more on page 26. You finish the trip by taking the Orø ferry back to Holbaek. Sailing time is about 30 min. 11 TURFORSLAG HOLBÆK–HØJBY 40–50 KM Ti psPÅ TUREN På strækningen Holbæk-Højby cykles der på Fjordstien, der på de fleste strækninger løber langs Isefjorden. I cykler forbi Audebo dæm- ningen, der bidrager til at holde Lammefjorden tør. Måske er det den lokale kunst, der kan lok- ke jer til at gøre hold undervejs i Odsherred. Malergården Sigurd Swanes originale hjem ligger i Plejerup ned til Lammefjorden og er et oplagt sted at drikke en kop kaffe og nyde en medbragt frokost. Lammefjorden er kendt for sine helt unikke grøntsager, der dyrkes på den nu tørlagte og frugtbare fjordbund. Et besøg hos en af gårdbutikkerne, eksempelvis Sidin- ge Gårdbutik, er virkelig en lille omvej værd. I Nykøbing er det nu muligt at tage toget tilba- ge til Holbæk. Eller der kan overnattes på en campingplads, Anneberg vandrehjem, i shelters eller på Hotel HøjbySø i Højby. Hotellet ligger i smukke omgivelser højt over søen og lige ved siden af en unik middelalderkirke fuld af smuk- ke kalkmalerier, men bedst af alt er, at det hele foregår lige midt i Danmarks første geopark - Geopark Odsherred. 12 On the stretch Holbæk-Højby, you will bike drained and fertile fjord bed.
