As always we will need to be well prepared and at our best. Since my last notes we have had 3 victories in 3 different competitions. Firstly the FA Vase game against Bodmin was, as expected, a tough encounter and not without it’s controversy. Some will argue that the Bodmin sending off changed the game but it’s sometimes more difficult playing against 10 men when they are defending a lead than 11. My own view is that their missed chance to go 3-1 ahead followed by us equalising at 2-2 virtually straight away was the game changer. The momentum shifted in our favour from that point and to come from 2 goals down after 25 minutes to win 4-2 against a tough Bodmin side reflects LEE HOBBS great credit on the lads, our team ethic and our will to win. We will now entertain Hereford based well they were received and how such a relatively Westfields in the last 64. I also note that they reached the 1st round proper Finally, Tuesday’s visit to Cullompton in the 3rd of the FA Cup last season, the lowest ranked side round of the Walter Parson League Cup saw us left in the competition at that stage. It’s worthy of note that the 14 goals we have scored in these 3 games have been spread around Secondly, last Saturday saw us gain a comfortable 7 different players plus an own goal.
