Progress Report: Q2 2020

From the Chairman’s desk Watching the Shahid Afridi Foundation growing leaps and bounds warms my heart. In some way, I’m able to give back to my people and the country that has rendered endless opportunities for me to shine and succeed.

Shahid Afridi Foundation is working diligently to create impact and change lives focusing on Health, Education, Access to Water and, Sports Rehabilitation. We are committed to serving underprivileged members of our country.

Over this quarter, SAF has tirelessly supported families struggling due to COVID-19 pandemic, by distributing COVID relief food, supplies, and hygiene packs.

Mission: To enable access to education, healthcare services, and clean water across Pakistan, empowering underprivileged communities for a better future.

SAF Quarter 02 Updates:

• Treated over 3,617 patients in the quater with 621 children, 2024 females,943 males & 29 deliveries at SFCH • Free Medical Camp provided health care services to 845 patients at SFCH • Isolation ward built at SFCH to quarantine patients with COVID 19 symptoms Health • Mother Child Health Promotion Center in Malikpur, Lahore has treated over 22,370 patients including 19,114 Mothers and 4,256 Children

• Renovated 8 schools in Karachi, classes were refurbished & painted • 3 schools in Kashmir & 2 Schools in Nowsera are under renovation Education • Tirah School second phase of construction completed

• 1water well built in Somran Jo Par village in Sindh facilitating 200 HH of the area • Second phase of construction completed for 2 water tanks in Bar Qamber Khel in KPK Water

• Cricket for change 4 camps completed; training through cricket to develop life skills to 184 students accross South Punjab. Sports

• Provided Microfinance Loans to 380 indiviuals with the support of Akhuwat for setting up their businesses in Kohat, KPK with 100% return on loans

Food Supplies:

Each pack costs 2200 PKR, for a family of 5, lasting 15 days approx.

Hygiene Supplies:

Soap 1| Sanitizer 1 | Disinfectant 1

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) have also been sourced and distributed to frontline workers at hospitals in the areas visited
