Research Center
A research center was established with the main objective of the centre is to ignite new thoughts and innovative ideas amongst the research students for Ph.D. Research Programme under Savitribai Phule Pune University. Apart from many research projects, JOMAT – Journal of Management and Administration Tomorrow, is the latest project undertaken. Apart from this various monographs have been published at SBPIM's Research Center. Now he is working as a Member of Research and Recognition committee of Savitribai Phule Pune University, SIBER, Shivaji University.

Faculty Development Programmes : The institute conducts Faculty Development Programmes for the teaching staff to enhance their Teaching Methodology for delivering quality knowledge to the students. Faculty Development Programmes are also conducted on Research Methodology. INFRASTRUCTURE
1 We have two advanced and well equipped computer labs. The labs are equipped with Computer lease line internet connection of 8MBPS, Lab Scanners, printers, MSDN software, all legal software and antivirus.
The library collection consists of 5419 books 2 with 1746 titles, 30 international and national journals and is fully equipped with renowned Library E-Journals like J-Gate, ASME, IEEE, ASCE, DElNET. E-books Proquest , NDL, NPTEL
Students learn with zeal if the classroom environment is pleasant. At SBPIM all class 3 rooms are spacious and well ventilated. The Class seating capacity of each class room is of 60 Room students, the class rooms are well equipped with latest seating arrangements with LCD projectors facilities.
The institute has two seminar halls of which one is fully air conditioned. The seminar halls 4 have seating capacity to take care of all the programs conducted there. The halls have Seminar modern PA systems and multimedia Hall facilities.
The institute is well equipped with sports 5 facilities for the students, which includes indoor as well as outdoor games such as Sports Cricket, table tennis, chess, and carrom. MBA ADMISSION PROCEDURE
A) Centralized Admission Process (CAP) : Admission to the MBA programme is done througn a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Eligible candidates have to undergo CAP rounds by
1) Filling Online Application form
2) Confirmation of Online Application Form and Document Verification.
3) Display of Provisional Merit lists, Submission of Grievances if any and Display of Final Merit List.
4) Filling Online Option Forms
5) Display of Provisional Allotment of CAP Round I, II, III
6) Reporting and accepting the offered seat will be as per the allotment of the CAP Round I, II, III by the Candidate at Reporting Centre.
7) Candidate shall Download "Provisional Seat Allotment Letter"
8) Seat Will by confirmed at Reporting Centre after verification of original document.
9) The Centre Incharge shall issue the Online Receipt of acceptance
B) Admission in Institutional Quota and Vacant Seats after CAP : The Institute may give admission to the applicants on the basis of their inter-se-merit derived from Merit list declared by the Competent Authority for filling the seats in the Institutional Quota, excluding NRI seats.
C) Institute Level Round : If the seats remain vacant after all CAP Rounds, the said seats shall be filled in by the institution through Institute Level Rounds with the prior approval of the Competent Authority.
D) Refund of Fees after cancellation of Admission by Institution : Refund of fees as per the rules of Competent Authority.
