QUOTES FROM THE COACH: “I thought we played hard on Saturday, but we did a lot of little things that cost us,” stated Clarkson head coach George Roll about the loss to Wayne State. “We were undisciplined when it came to some of the penalties. We just have to make better decisions. We turned the puck over at crucial times and that cost us goals. The effort was there today, but we are not all on the same page. We will get better.” On Sunday’s win over the Warriors, Roll commented, “It is certainly a relief to get that first win under our belts, but more importantly I thought our team showed a lot more character. We won a lot of battles down low and that is the kind of effort we will need to have to win hockey games. It was certainly the best effort we have had for 60 minutes so far this season.”
