LEARN about the imposing Duomo—built seven centuries ago and one of the world’s largest churches—on a tour with Monsignor Timothy Verdon, canon of the cathedral.

ATTEND a private cooking demonstration of Tuscan specialties with a local chef, who regales us with stories of centuries-old culinary traditions and customs. Faculty Leader ROBERTO D’ALIMONTE is dean of the department of political science at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome and has taught many courses at Stanford’s Bing Overseas Study Program in Florence. He has also served as visiting professor at Stanford’s main campus on numerous occasions and been a frequent lecturer at Stanford Business School’s Executive Program.
