DAY 01 - 07 SEP (SAT) - SINGAPORE ZURICH | LENK

Flight:

Singapore / Zurich SQ 346 0125/0815 (12h 50m)

Upon arrival, be met by your local guide and transferred to Lenk and check in to your hotel.

After lunch, transfer to Col du Pillon (Glacier 3000) for an aerial ropeway to Scex Rouge. Discover the new must-see attraction in the region: the Peak Walk by Tissot (only suspension bridge connecting 2 peaks in the world). You can enjoy a breathtaking view on the Matterhorn, Mont-Blanc & Jungfrau.

Transfer back to Lenk and enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel.

DAY 02 - 08 SEP (SUN) - LENK | ADELBODEN

Walking distance: 13.5km, ↑ 990 m ↓ 700 m Estimated duration: 5 hours Difficulty: Easy

Start the day to hike via the Hahnenmoos Pass with a gentle walk alongside the Glisbach stream, through forest and moorland towards the famous winter sport destination - Adelboden.

After lunch at the mountain restaurant, continue the hike to Geils and all the way to Adelboden.

DAY 03 - 09 SEP (MON) - ADELBODEN | KANDERSTEG

Walking distance: 17km, ↑ 1’400 m ↓ 1’035 m Estimated duration: 7 hours Difficulty: Difficult

This morning we hike over the pass “Bonderchrindi”. You can catch glimpses on the peaks of the Jungfrau massif from afar in a series of steeper and flatter sections that should make the going comfortable. The Bunderspitz is a fantastic showroom. The all-round view extends from the fern peaks of the Blüemlisalp group over the triumvirate of Altel, Balm and to and . The dark cliffs of the Lohnergruppe provide contrasts. The difference in weather between the mountains and the valley at their foot can be quite surprising at times.

After picnic lunch on route, we will take cable car ride from Allmenalp to the centre of Kandersteg with its picturesque chalets.

DAY 04 - 10 SEP (TUE) - KANDERSTEG | LEUKERBAD

Walking distance: 9km, ↑ 500 m ↓ 200 m Estimated duration: 3 hours Difficulty: Easy

Last day of the hike would get start with cable car ride to Sunnbüel. Enjoy the scenic stroll past Daubensee and Arveseeli (2 little lakes) – a perfect walk to enjoy nature in peace.

Soon you reach Gemmipass. From here another cable car takes you down to . Leukerbad of Valais is well known their thermal springs that has led to the development of spa and wellness tourism in the area.

Upon arrival in Leukerbad, lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

DAY 05 - 11 SEP (WED) - LEUKERBAD | ZERMATT

Enjoy a leisure morning and transfer to Grimentz to visit the wine cellar. We’d have the chance of wine tasting the “Vin du Glacier” which cannot be bought. It is only savored in the cellars of the Anniviers, drawn directly from the barrel. The principle of the Vin du Glacier is simple: the barrels are never emptied. Every year new wine is added to the old. The wine in this larch-wood barrel dates from 1886.

Zermatt is a car free village for its traffic is closed since 1961, our group will be transferred from Tasch by train with first class seating. Upon arrival, spend some time to explore theold village. Besides the hotel we spend 2 nights of stay, there are around 30 more ancient buildings show the traditional building style of the original Walser residents. The barns and grain stores, up to 500 years old, are a piece of living history and reveal how the mountain farmers of Zermatt once lived. It is a delight to walk along at any time with its bars, restaurants, boutiques, souvenir shops, bakeries and shops selling cakes and chocolates.

DAY 06 - 12 SEP (THU) - ZERMATT

Today you may feel free to go for either one of the options:

1. Full day tour to Gornergrat and Riffelberg

Europe’s highest open-air cog railway brings passengers direct from Zermatt station (1,620 m) to the summit of the Gornergrat, 365 days a year. The ride takes 33 minutes and requires a vertical climb of 1,469 m. The line leads over dramatic bridges, through galleries and tunnels, across forests of larch and Swiss stone pine, and past rocky ravines and mountain lakes. Continue the panoramic view by taking a cog railway to Rothenboden and hike to Riffelberg (approx. 1 hour).

Take a cog rail way back to Zermatt.

2. Circular hike to Suspension Bridge in Randa

Take a train to Tasch on first class and transfer by coach to Randa (8 km by coach). The path begins at the Randa train station, where the “Europabrücke” signs point in the correct direction. Through larchwood forests and past the “Hohtschugga” viewing point, hikers reach the world-record holding “Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge”. At 494 m, it is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. It takes almost 10 minutes to cross, swaying walkers are at the highest point: 85 m above the Grabengufer. After crossing, the path continues right back to Randa.
