Mule Ewe Lambs topped at £72 from Mr P L Bloomfield. 37 Breeding Ewes Small entry met a strong trade selling to £98 for 3 pens of Suffolk x 4T from Mr N Wickett, Laneast.

STORE CATTLE AUCTIONEER RICHARD DENNIS Another good day at Hallworthy with 220 Cattle through the ring, plenty of quality from start to finish with the last animal through the ring topping the market. Steers topping out at £1240 with a super fleshed British Blue Steer from R A Bolitho of Great Elm. Next in line was J Vokes of Lockengate with his grand run of Limousin and British Blue x Cattle saw a top to £1185 for a single stretchy Limousin x Steer. Equal at £1180 were RS Hopper of Poundstock with a Charolais x Steer and probably the strongest Friesian Steer through Hallworthy for some time, also at £1180 for Messrs F E & D Jenkin of . Mr Vokes come in the running again with a pair of Limousin x Steers to £1170 and a shapey pair of British Blue x Steers to £1115. Aberdeen Angus x Steers for P J North of Marhamchurch, saw his first pen of 19 month Steers top to £1075. Mr R A Bolitho also took top spot in this section with a pen of British Blue Heifers, with a tremendous outlook at £1010. 9-11 month Charolais Steers from Mr R A Cornelius of St Breward saw his first pen of 7 at £950 with growth on bone to make big Cattle, and Heifers to £710. Mr S Nankivell & Sons saw their best younger Steers to £750. Tony Steed of Tremail, Davidstow saw the top of his run of 14 Cows and Calves to £1400 for a young Charolais x Cow with Steer Calf at foot, three further Charolais x Cows with British Blue or Charolais x Calves realising £1340. A young cow with a British Blue x Calf at foot to £1310. A small entry of Cull Cows saw the best of their end to £100ppkilo.
