This plan is a road map for the parks and recreation decisions to be made over the next five years and beyond. This plan also makes the Charter Township of Kalamazoo eligible for funding through the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). The process taken to prepare the plan has given the Township a better understanding of its residents’ needs and desires for parks and recreation. The plan contains the following components: .
