Chief Executive Officer Forbes Dunlop Forbes supports the Staff, Council and Board. Forbes also leads on the development and execution of vision, strategy, and planning.

Corporate Services Elaine Mackenzie Elaine’s role is to lead on all HR matters. Elaine also has responsibility for co-ordinating all Director of Services matters relating to the AGM, risk management, constitutional issues, complaints/ child protection, equality and ensuring that Scottish Swimming meets quality assurance standards. Seb O’Dell Seb is the Manager to the Services Team and leads on the development and Services Manager implementation of the Club Membership program for Scottish Swimming. Seb also supports the Director of Services on complaints and the CEO on child protection procedures. Melanie Orr Melanie supports the Services Line Manager on the Club Membership program and is Executive Officer - responsible for supporting the organisation of the AGM, administering the Information Guide Membership Governance documentation, maintaining medical/doping and membership databases. Melanie provides admin support to the Board of Directors and Council and to the National Champs/Events Convener. Tracey Steven Tracey supports the Director of Services on HR and governance work including recruitment, Executive Officer – equality, training and staff records. Tracey supports the administration for risk management Human Resources and equality. Kathleen Mitchell Kathleen is the first point of contact in the organisation and is responsible for all tasks Services Administrator arising from general reception enquiries via mail, email or voicemail. Kathleen supports the and Receptionist club membership program; processes club medical declarations, swim school membership, administers monthly club mailings, facilities support, etc. Deborah McGinniss Deborah leads and manages the day-to-day financial management of the company. This Finance Manager/ includes managing the investment awarded by , Membership, sponsorship Company Secretary and other external partners, provide management and financial reports, monitor financial risks and ensure Scottish Swimming adopts a quality internal control procedure. Elaine O’Reilly Elaine’s role as part of the Finance team includes responsibility for the Purchase Ledger, Executive Officer – processing bank payments, administration of the corporate credit cards and finance support Finance for the administration of Awards. Marilyn Sweet Marilyn’s role as part of the Finance team includes responsibility for the Sales Ledger, credit Executive Officer – control, processing credit card payments and finance support for the administration of Finance Awards. Vacancy This role is the strategic lead on all marketing, communications and sponsorship activity to Head of Marketing & create and proactively implement a strategy to position Scottish Swimming as a trusted Communications brand for swimming in Scotland across all major target groups. This role will also look to secure additional funds and income generation, developing the Scottish Swimming website and all social media channels, allocating the annual marketing budget and liaising with external suppliers. Kirsten Phillips Supporting the Head of Marketing & Communications, Kirsten’s role is to manage all Communications communications and media activity for Scottish Swimming. This includes the development Manager and implementation of a communications strategy, maximising media and PR opportunities and liaising with stakeholders. Kirsten leads on the implementation of the Scottish Swimming brand guidelines, the production of all corporate documents including the annual report, managing branding requirements and media activity at national events and the management of the Awards Event. Judith Smith Judith provides support to the Head of Marketing and Communications and Executive Officer – Communications Manager on all marketing and communication activity and is the lead on Marketing the day to day upkeep of the Scottish Swimming website, social media platforms and co- ordination of Speedo Kit order placements. Along with the Marketing and Communications Manager Judith supports all Marketing and Communications activity across the business. Kate Wallace Kate leads on the development and support the delivery of events. Kate is responsible for Events Manager communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships with external service and venue providers, developing partnership agreements to help secure favourable terms for all Scottish Swimming events.

Development Team

Sharon MacDonald Sharon leads and manages the Development Team who are responsible for developing Director of and implementing a strategy which engages more people in swimming for health, Development fitness and fun; builds stronger sustainable clubs and provides quality education and training. Fiona Paterson Fiona is a member of the Participation team. Fiona help Sharon to develop aquatic Participation programmes and products to get more people active through swimming. Fiona/Angela Development Officer has a strategic lead on children and young people. Jayne Smith Jayne is a member of the Participation team who develop aquatic programmes and Participation products to get more people active through swimming. Jayne has a strategic lead on Development Officer adult participation and is responsible for the development of the Active Adults programme including adult swimming. Sarah Pryde-Smith Sarah leads and manages the Development Manager and the team of Club Development Regional Development Managers who are responsible for developing and implementing Manager a strategy to support our swimming clubs throughout Scotland. RSDM’s The RSDM’s are part of the Development Team with responsibility for planning, Regional Swimming monitoring and evaluating a co-ordinated approach to swimming development. They Development are responsible for working with partners to implement Scottish Swimming’s learn to Manager’s swim and awards programme, the swiMark club development programme, co-ordinating training and development for coaches and teachers and co-ordinating the training and development of volunteers (including child protection). Sean Dawson Sean covers Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Angus, Dundee, Perth and Kinross. RSDM – Grampian & Sean is the strategic lead for the STO committee. Tayside Gordon Hunter Gordon covers Angus, Clackmannanshire, Dundee, Falkirk, Perth and Kinross, Stirling, RSDM – Central & North and South Lanarkshire. Gordon also provide’s the RSDM link with the West Participation Programme Manager on Learn to Swim. Paul Donald Paul covers Argyll and Bute, Dumfries and Galloway, East Ayrshire, East RSDM – West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, and West Dunbartonshire. Eilidh McCall-Lawrie Eilidh covers the Borders, East Lothian, City of Edinburgh, Fife, Midlothian and West RSDM – East Lothian. Eilidh has a strategic lead for child protection policy and procedures. Colleen Blair Colleen covers Highland, Orkney, Shetland and the Western Isles. Colleen is the RSDM – strategic lead for Open Water swimming. Highlands, Islands & Moray Neal Rayner Neal develops the polo pathway from Mini-polo through Schools polo to clubs, Water Polo increasing participation and events. Neal works with the Water Polo Committee to Development Officer deliver Scottish National championships and leagues, the SWP Academy, officials training, and club growth and development. He leads on water polo education as the head tutor and develops the educational content with the British Polo Tutors group. He also is seconded to coordinating Home Countries development as well as being the Head Coach of the Scottish Women’s National team. Alan Reed Alan is part of the Development Team with responsibility for leading the Education Workforce team. This includes maintaining Scottish Swimming as a training provider for teacher Development Manager and coach education, management of the tutor workforce, teacher/coach and tutor licensing and continuing professional development. Nicola McGaw Nicola is part of the Development Team with responsibility for the daily operation of the Executive Officer – Education department including UKCC, CPD, funding and bursary processing, modern Development apprenticeships and liaising with the Scottish Qualifications Authority and our partner sports. Charlene Graham Charlene is part of the Development team responsible for the administration of Child Executive Officer – Protection. Provide admin support and work with RSDM’s to deliver Club Development Club Development projects. Charlene also provides admin support to the Chairs of Synchro, Masters, Water Polo, , Masters and Open Water.

Performance Team

Ally Whike Ally provides leadership in developing and implementing Scotland's performance plan for Director of Performance swimming. This includes corporate lead for planning, monitoring, investment, budgeting, and communicating with key partners on all performance matters. Alan Lynn Alan is responsible for technical development in swimming and heads up the extensive National Coach national squad programme. He also leads the development and support process to our performance coaches and manages coach development opportunities. Dorothy Roberts Dot is the Performance Team lead for sportscotland Institute of Sport support to Scottish Swimming Programme Swimming squads. Dot also leads on the organisation of Squad weekends and camps and Manager the resourcing of the District Regional Programme. Paul Wilson Paul has responsibility for the performance development of disability swimming. He is Disability Performance responsible for the Scottish Talent Squad to ensure that more swimmers make British Development Manager Para-Swimming World Class Programmes. He works closely with British Swimming, Scottish Disability Sport towards providing a seamless pathway from Learn to Swim through to World Class Programmes. Shona McCallum Shona is part of the Performance Team and leads on the administration for the DRP, Executive Officer – performance weekends, training camps and competitions, Swimming Committee, Coaches Performance Technical Panel and High Performance Group. Shona administers Scottish records.
