Starting with Solar System, Solar is derived from “Sol” which means in roman “Sungod” . As a result all the words from ‘solar’ means related to sun. What will study in this chapter is solar system and earth in particular. Many galaxy make universe. The galaxy in which we live is Milky way and we call it Akashganga. Solar system is part of Milky Way.

Celestial Bodies can be classified as:
Those which emit their own heat and Light – Star (Example, SUN)
Those which don՚t emit their own light – Planets
Planets are derived from Greek Word “Planetai” which means Wanderer
NORTH STAR – POLE STAR – Indicates north Direction
North Star is known as pole star and it՚s indicates north direction.
