Starting with Solar System, Solar is derived from “Sol” which means in roman “Sungod” . As a result all the words from ‘solar’ means related to sun. Those which don՚t emit their own light – Planets

Planets are derived from Greek Word “Planetai” which means Wanderer

NORTH STAR – POLE STAR – Indicates north Direction

North Star is known as pole star and it՚s indicates north direction.
