15 16 Ingredients RECIPE OF THE MONTH • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Easy cheesy 2-minute noodles • 20g butter • 1 brown onion, finely chopped • 4 middle bacon rashers, trimmed, roughly chopped • 1 tbsp plain flour • 4 x 72g packets Maggi 2 Minute Noodles Chicken Flavour • 2 cups milk • 1 cup frozen peas • 1 cup grated Devondale Colby Cheese Block (500g) STEP 1 - Heat oil and butter in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add onion and bacon. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until onion softens. Transfer 2 tablespoons onion mixture to a small bowl. Cover to keep warm. STEP 2 -Add flour and 2 of the chicken flavour sachets from noodles to pan (discard remaining sa- chets). Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium. Gradually stir in milk and 2 cups water. Bring to a simmer. Add noodles. Cook, stirring occasionally to break up noodles, for 2 minutes or until noodles are tender. STEP 3 -Add peas and cheese. Cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes or until peas are bright green and tender. Add parsley and lemon zest to reserved onion mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine. S TEP 3 -Remove noodles from heat. Sprinkle with onion mixture. Serve.

We identified he was displaying symptoms of being Wheat Gluten intolerant. I was concerned he was not putting on enough weight, continued to have loose stools and was becoming reluctant to eat his meals Sandra Raw from Worcester Dogs Training recommended a consultation with Claire at The Pet Corner. During my visit with Claire, she weighed Duke, felt his muscle and tissue coverage and analysed his current diet. Claire reassured me that Duke’s case was not unusual and felt The food we were using, although good quality, wasn’t quite the right balance for our Puppy. What is the legal tyre tread depth? The legal tyre tread depth for cars in the UK and Europe is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, according to law. The tread must meet this minimum requirement across its complete circumference. What is the expert-recommended minimum tyre tread depth?

Tyre and safety experts believe the 1.6mm legal minimum is insufficient to guarantee safety – most recommend a minimum tread depth of 3mm for tyre replacement.Tests by UK technical organisation MIRA found that, once tyres are below 3mm, stopping distances increase dramatically. The difference in wet braking distance between a tyre worn to 3mm and one worn to 1.6mm can be as much as 44%. Worn tyres are particularly dangerous in the wet because a tyre’s tread helps disperse water away from the contact patch between tyre and road. If there’s less tread depth, less water can be shifted, increasing the risk of aquaplaning and losing grip. In heavy rain, each tyre can shift one gallon of water every second, illustrating just how hard tyres work,Simply put, deeper tread means they can work better, improving grip. Tyre tread depth has to be above 1.6mm to be legal. This must be the case for the middle three quarters of the tyre.

Give yourself permission to grieve

The only way to move forward and adapt to life without your loved one is to give yourself permission to grieve. Don’t let others define your grief and tell you how you should feel.

Listen to your body

Your body is perfectly capable of letting you know what it needs and when. Listen to it and eat if you feel hun- gry, drink water if you are thirsty and sleep when you feel tired. Get into the habit of exercising as it improves not just your physical but your mental health as well. When you exercise, your body produces endorphins which lift your mood and improve the way you feel. Learn some breathing exercises and meditation to elph you calm down and reduce the stress you are going through.

Don’t bottle up your emotions

Pretending that you are OK when you are not does not make grief disappear. You need to go through the mo- tions and find a healthy way of expressing your feelings. Talking to someone helps and so does grief counselling but if that’s not the way you do things, then there are other ways to help you achieve the same result. Start a journal and write about your feelings and thoughts in it. That would help you to validate your grief and enable you to work though it in a healthy way.
