Hogue ruled in the Conservancy’s favor in litigation to stop the demolition. Now a designated Historic-Cultural Monument (HCM), the building at 8150 Sun- set Boulevard is proposed for demolition as part of a new mixed-use development. The environmental impact report (EIR) for the project studied two alternatives that avoided demolition of the historic building and determined that it could feasibly be
